£15 for 2 shandies and 1 cider. The 40 min wait for pizza which they bring in from Stonehouse put us off ordering. There was a loud strange noise intermittently from an extractor unit. Didn't enjoy it. Left hungry looking for somewhere else to eat. Found a nice local pub where the same drinks PLUS 3 meals was £33. Something doesn't seem right.

The beer is reasonable but the food leaves a lot to be desired. In the lower half of the table / fighting relegation bracket. Dough balls came swimming in oil in a tin foil tray. Back room is nice, clearly made some effort but plastic feel to the place when compared with some places in ncl. Nice to see new places in the city but if you're going to offer food, better to do something well or not at all.

After work drinks with some colleagues...First time trying here..perfect little spot! Very friendly service, lovely surroundings and a cosy uniquely decorated place. Looking forward to trying some food next time.

A lovely little bar, full of quirky character, and excellent banter. Service was excellent with a welcome smile from the moment you enter, to a friendly goodbye when you leave. Not your run of the mill franchise pub, but an honest friendly spot. I loved the old fashioned juke box, and the carefully selected decoration, which immediately puts you at ease. I was told they now have live music on a weekend.Well worth a visit.

Cracking new venue right in the centre of Newcastle. One of a few places in the city centre with outdoor seating which was perfect when we visited. Plenty of seating inside over 2 floors when the weather is more like you would expect in the North East.Live music on certain nights and multiple TV screens showing all the big sporting events.Food is available in the form of pizzas and pastries and there is a good selection of beverages.According to the owner there are plans for movie nights at certain times of the year so its one more reason to visit this quirky little venue.Highly recommended if you are in the area.
