I attended on the seventh of February for a pre op cataract examination. All the staff were excellent and pleasant, but I would particularly like to thank the Opthalmologist who discovered that I have a condition which prevents me from having the cataract removed until it has been cured. I have seen three specialists about this condition over the years and they have never found it in spite of my explaining the symptoms. Your lovely Opthalmologist found it straight away! I had my cataract surgery on Monday at SpaMedica Poole. The staff were amazing and very helpful from start to finish. This was apart from the surgeon…. Who was rude to both myself and worse of all to the nurses/theatre staff. If i was them I would complain and refuse to work with him. Overall I would recommend going to SpaMedica in Poole as they are courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and caring. Thank you nursing and support staff!!

My mother has been here to have both eyes cataracts done on separate occasions. What can I say about this place! The place is welcoming, clean, and every member of staff seems truly happy to work there! Biscuits and teas on tap. From the moment you walk into the doors and till you walk out, you can't ask for a better service. The whole team make this place what it is, and I can't say enough good things about each person there.

Both cataracts done last year very successfully, care was excellent on the days. Early this year noticed deterioration in one eye, went back to opticians and they referred me back to spamedica for yag laser treatment in April. Appointment made for 5th June, on 3rd June had message canceling appointment, when ringing back to Sparmedica they advised I was on waiting list with no idea how long it would be.

I was helping a friend by taking her To SpaMedica , we were immediately welcomed by the friendly staff,and given nice hot tea with biscuits. Although we were early we were welcomed into the warm waiting room. DUNCAN STONE was kind andhelpful as were all the staff. It was very welcome as my friend was cold from our journey, and a little nervous, but came away happy and confident . Every area was most clean and comfortable. Elizabeth Langford
