My local, can't fault it. Cheap very friendly and proper 80s styled pub with the stained glass n everything. Pints bit iffy but get better more ya drink

I know I'm having a Lazy day by ordering food but that doesn't mean the Chef (cook) has to be lazy too. Roast potatoes over done, greasy, salty with the skins left on WT! And before anyone tells me they are wedges, I didn't order wedges with my roast dinner. Even the boiled potatos had skins left on. Absolutely stone cold when it arrived so no idea how long it's been hanging around but Yorkshires don't microwave very well. Beef too tough to cut. Couldn't eat the dinner so gave it to the dogs. Gravy nice and generous portions. Partly my fault too for not checking reviews first. Looks better than it tastes.

I went to watch The Madhouse band on bank hol Sunday. They were brilliant, very entertaining and friendly. Would be great for any special occasion, party, wedding etc. Pub staff were friendly and it was nice and clean.

We take children for a food but they was out of stock. I belived we spoke with the owners and they was very nice. There is a lots of space on car park than if someone wants to only drink I can recommend this place.

Great breakfast. I would definitely recommend one when they are on.I could not eat all. Not cheep sausages witch is great. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 hash brown, mushroom, tomato,beans, toast or fried bread, extra for black pudding, and it also comes with a pint. What more can you ask for.

What a super small pub. Great food and very friendly and helpful staff. We just dropped in as we were passing to grab a bite to eat. The bar staff served us outside as we had our dog with us and for hygiene reasons the dog was not allowed in the normal dining area. We had a great meal, which was freshly prepared ( no frozen microwaved meals there) if we pass again we will certainly eat there again. Thank you.
