Enterprise Car & Van Hire - South Croydon

Rented many cars through enterprise personal and loan cars. The service always the same if I am paying or warranty. Special mention goes to manager Atare! Always looks after me. The team also keep up the high customer service standard when he isn’t in! 10/10

Terrible, terrible experience and very poor customer service. Would advise all to stay well away from Enterprise. Hate the fact that I have to give one star as they don’t deserve any at all. I was in a car accident back in September and the other driver who hit me was at fault. Her insurance were unable to arrange a courtesy car for me whilst my car was getting repaired so advised a hire car from Enterprise would be provided instead. When the car was dropped at my home I inspected it and immediately saw that there was a service warning, low key battery warning and no fuel. I raised this with the rep who brought the car to me and he brushed it off. Three days later as I was driving home all of a sudden multiple warning lights started flashing up; engine management, loss of power, stop start function everything. I then noticed that the car was having difficulties when I tried making turns. As it was quite late I did not call Enterprise as I knew they were closed. I called first thing the next day and the agent brushed off the above I explained and advised I should call RAC, I told him that this is not my car therefore not my responsibility so will not call RAC and he should call them instead. Soon after I got a notification from RAC that they were on their way and once the man arrived he immediately recognised the car and advised the car had a serious fault and Enterprise had been aware of this since February! So basically Enterprise hire out faulty cars and do not thoroughly check their cars. The RAC guy took the car back to the south Croydon branch as he said it is not Road worthy (and too old) and that I should be provided another car. At this time I had been trying to call Enterprise from 10am - 12 noon and no one answered my calls. I was then called by the RAC guy again to tell me he took the car to the south croydon branch but they refused to take their car stating “this is not their problem” The poor guy had to take it to another Croydon branch. I was then provided another car from the second branch however the tyres on this car where completely worn out and had no grip so I’ve dreaded having to drive the car. This is absolutely the very worst service I have experienced and not one person in enterprise that I have spoken to have provided an apology. They all have a very nonchalant attitude and show no compassion at all. I have told everyone I know and have posed it online to stay well away from Enterprise and that they’re better using public transport instead

Amazing service from start to returning the vehicle. All the staff are very helpful and welcoming. I have rented a few times after and will definitely be going back any time I need a rental car.

Confirmed Booked van reservation online - call from enterprise south Croydon branch to say we don’t have any van on-site no alternative and btw won’t have a van until next week- too bad can’t help you -really couldn’t care less attitude.called Enterprise Sevenoaks branch as had previously excellent service and same again this time round helpful and fantastic customer service willing to go the extra mile as valued customer.you really wouldn’t think this was the same company !

Lowest quality car ive ever been given, came complete with tyre pressure warning, which, when checked was a puncture, could have been a serious accident if i had gone straight on the motorway as i was going to. When i told them about tyre pressure being at 50% no apology or care

AVOID at all cost! Don’t even deserve one star after the ordeal they put me through after my rental car broke down! No replacement car and I was stranded at Stansted airport (as advised by the branch AA to take me there as a car will be ready for me). This car hire was to bring my daughter home from her uni. Spent almost all day trying to sort out a replacement car.To note all Enterprise branches work in silos and they really don’t care about their customers. Their Head office had my complaint for almost a month (understand holiday period) but I chased them every week to no avail. Every time i called they couldn’t find my complaint under the booking ref or my name! They never update their system when there’s an incident or a call from customer. They don’t bother to follow up via email or confirm your complaint via email - I had to specifically asked for an email. I really got messed about and I’m out of pocket for over £1000 and two days of loss plus a lots of unnecessary stress.Please avoid them at all cost.

Great cars, friendly and helpful staff. Always go above and beyond to fix any issues.I also get a nifty 10% off with blue light which is super helpful, so if we are doing a long drive I choose Enterprise over zip car as I trust that Enterprise cars are well serviced and looked after.
