Julie Payne School of Dance

We started our daughter with Julie's dance school after discussing with other parents of our daughter's primary school who also enrolled their child to a dance school as to why they chose which school. The school has been around a long time, since 1982 and has had students that have now become teachers there. It is IDTA certified and so the school had a standard it adhered to and it could lead to certification / qualifications in the future.Our daughter started over 3 years ago on Saturdays doing tap, jazz and ballet. She has passed her IDTA exams each year and moved into gym and street dance on Monday and Tuesday evening respectively. She has also participated in the annual show dances each year (3 so far) which are 3 hour dance shows which are spectacular to watch. She is hoping to further increase her participation into regional dancing competitions in the coming year and dropping other activities to accommodate this.Very highly recommended.
