Excellent quality repairs at a realistic price. Went to J. P. Williams after reading many positive reviews about his work. I needed a diamond replacing in a trilogy ring that I'd bought online and Mr Williams sourced and fitted a diamond of perfect match in size and clarity. He also straightened a diamond eternity ring that had been damaged by a previous repairer. The prices Mr Williams charged for the work was exactly what I was expecting to pay and seeing the superb standard of workmanship I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Very highly recommended.

Although I rarely write reviews, I thought it necessary to do so for my experience with J.P.Williams. The level of craftsmanship is outstanding, I was so surprised that I could have one ring repaired and another one resized by four or so sizes done with in a few hours at an outstanding price. The letters addressed to mr Williams thanking him for his work located on the wall inside really say it all to be honest. I will make sure that I go nowhere else for all my jewellery needs, and I look forward to coming back again and again. Absolutely faultless.

Blown away by Mr Williams expertise! There are crafts men, and there's real craftsmen. Mr Williams in a league of his own. After having my rings rhodium plated a couple of times i decided to have them copied and made out of platinum. JP Williams were able to take a perfect mould of both rings and reset the diamond into the new setting. The results were absolutely beautiful and I was extremely happy with the results. Always a great price and excellent service, i would thoroughly recommend JP Williams.

Another local jeweller recommended J P Williams to me because they were able to do repairs quickly. I went into see them cause my dad's wedding ring needed altering, it was much too big. I explained the situation, he was very ill in hospital. They were both sensitive and professional, and advised me that they would be able to alter it within an hour. I collected it later and was able to put it on my dad's finger. Sadly, he passed a couple of days later, but I am so grateful for your help in allowing me to get the ring altered in time. Would highly recommend.

BEWARE!!! Well.... been a customer for over 10!!!! years!! Only recently found out J.Williams - the jeweller used glue to fix all small diamond on my MANY diamond items, charged me TWICE the price of his normal price!!! the other jewellers, by the way, next door to him were in deep shock with his kind of work! DON'T TRUST! He lost one of my pink small diamonds for the ring, instead said, I gave him one brown, and again GLUED it in the middle of the diamond flower ring, disgusting, shocking! Don't waist your money and go find real honest jewellers! BEWARE never gives any receipts when takes your jewellery for repair, never gives back pieces of gold back, keeps for himself !!!

I asked Mr Williams to re-set the 3 diamonds from my late mother's engagement ring into a white gold band for my own engagement (reserving the 2 sapphires for our wedding bands) I can't describe how happy I am with it.Thank you JP from Lisa and David

I have recently had 2 pieces of jewellery made for me by JP Williams using gemstones that I had inherited.The whole process from visiting the shop,to valuation of the stones,discussion regarding designs and complete of the jewellery was seamless.I now have a large topaz ring surrounded by diamonds and amethyst and diamond pendant.Both are unique designs incorporating the original topaz and amethyst with additional diamonds sourced by JP Williams.For unique one off pieces of jewellery I would dfinitely recommend visiting this shop.

I was over the moon when Mr Williams repaired my engagement ring by creating a wider shank and resetting all the diamonds in the shoulders last year.He has also done a lot of repairs and resizing of jewellery for my mum and his prices have been incredibly fair.This is the only place I will take any of my jewellery to be repaired and serviced in Chester.

Built up a split ring which had worn so thin it had broken.Mr Williams did an amazing repair - you wouldn't even know it's been touched as it looks like new - and it's 150 years old!!We couldn't be happier with the service and quality. Highly recommended!!
