Richard is excellent at his craft and is also a really lovely guy. He has a great range of jewelry for purchase but does outstanding repairs/alterations and his expertise helped me and my partner attain our unique wedding bands. Highly recommend to just ask if your unsure about an alteration, he is honest about what he can and can't do.

I went to buy this watch as I thought it looked great. Asked the lady if it still came with a box etc because of the price and she told me it did and it was only reduced to that much as it was the last one. When she went to ask the owner if it needed a battery he said he wasn’t selling me the watch at that price because “he liked it for himself and didn’t want to sell it. Plus it was going for £400 online” genuinely had to leave the store without buying it because he liked it himself. Why display it in the window then?

Wouldn't purchase anything again from this jewellers. Quick to take your money but not so quick to help when you have a problem with faulty purchases. Customer care is atrocious and owner needs some work on his communication skills. Would give a no star rating if I could.

I would definitely recommend taking jewellery to be repaired at R J Chawick, very helpful and friendly, they also have some very nice looking pieces of jewellery certainly worth a look, I am very pleased with what he did for me, and will use them again.
