Awesome workshop with Tom in the Lake District ! We were at the right place at the right time thanks to Tom’s extensive knowledge of the field and the weather.The small group atmosphere was great and allowed for exchanges as well as one to one time with Tom.I highly recommend this workshop and I would book it again with pleasure.

I had a great 1-2-1 workshop with Tom in stunning Lake District Autumnal conditions. The weather was not kind with clear sky's and harsh light for most of the day but Tom still managed to put us in some stunning locations where we took advantage of reflections, early morning light and mist over small intimate Tarn's. Tom is very relaxed in his approach and made me feel at ease throughout the whole day while providing me with all the information required to move forward in my photography journey. I came away feeling much more confident in my approach to a scene, assessing composition, picking out images within a scene, DOF etc and apart from a few waterfall shots have not used my wide angle lens since. ( And yes Tom I am already looking at a 100-400mm which my wife is thrilled about ). Tom kept in touch on the lead up to the workshop so we could plan things based on the weather, gave me very clear instructions on meeting places etc and even advice on a location to go on my own after the workshop had finished which turned out to be absolutely stunning. Thanks Tom, I had a great time, a very relaxing day with laughs along the way and I will definitely be back for more in the future!

From 6.30am onwards Tom's infectious good humour, enthusiasm and love of photography set the tone for a wonderful workshop in the Lake District, but it was his help, deep knowledge and gentle persuasion when discussing your frame and composition that will stay with me. Thank you Tom.

The workshop with Tom was great. He's a great guy. Always up for a laugh and a very knowledgeable and patient photography teacher. He takes the necessary time for each participant and adapts his help to the respective experience. He knows the Lake District better than anyone else and is an absolute pro at weather forecasting. I recently had the pleasure of a half day 1-2-1 workshop session with Tom in the Lake District.Having not done any tuition or photography learning of this nature before I wasn't sure what to expect, I needn't have worried as Tom's humorous and welcoming personality makes you feel at ease from the moment you meet.His extensive knowledge of photography techniques coupled with a keen eye for composition were the exact sort of insights i was hoping for.I learned so much in the short time we were together, would highly recommend and would book again in the future.Thanks Tom

Having not done a photography workshop or any kind of tuition before, I didn’t know what to expect… Tom was creative, patient, thorough, funny and full of enthusiastic encouragement.I learned so much in my half day 121 session and will definitely book him again when I’m back in the lakes. I cannot recommend the man highly enough!

My workshop with Tom in the Lake District was first class and he even ordered the atmospheric weather. Tom was super friendly, organised, helpful and got the group to some amazing locations so we could capture fantastic images. Thoroughly recommended.
