Sparlings Farm

Although this was a wasted day out for us, due to spending more time in traffic queing for the market than actually at the Christmas market, I believe from the event's response that they were totally overwhelmed by the volume of people attending. If this was to go ahead next year, please make this a ticketed event with a cut-off point. Needs to be more 'Christmassy' wheres the decorations? music? grotto for the children? And use accurate photos to advertise.

Went for the Christmas Market, absolutely carnage! No organisation, a free for all with people everywhere, no music, took 25mins to queue for a coffee, took nearly an hour in the queue to get parked, there was only one toilet with so many people queuing for it and a stall to buy beer?The exit to the car park was across a field, long grass, and muddy bits and cars slipping everywhere, then up a but which nearly left me beached! There's nothing to say where the exit is either, just told to drive across the field. No signs for it or anything. The queues getting in meant that getting out was also carnage, stand still traffic.Overall a very stressful experience with the kids, not the best selection of stalls, really looked forward to going but I won't be going back.

Lovely seeing the chickens so free. Delicious, large eggs at a reasonable price. Turkeys are brilliant too. Well cared for animals. Will always use for eggs etc.

Love getting our eggs from the farm and seeing all the chickens out in the pastures!

Have been coming here for years to buy eggs which are always fresh from their free range chickens and very reasonably priced. The shop has now expanded its range of produce. You can get Priors Hall sausages, bacon and ham as well as a small selection of gifts. The sourdough bread from The Little Artisan Bakery bread is amazing. Saffron icecream is available in the warmer months. Definitely worth a visit especially for the eggs.

Since moving back to the U.K. and not being able to “pick my own eggs” this farm is the only supplier I have found that is equal to “my own production”. Service always with a smile! Thanks.

The eggs are lovely, the shop is very basic and cash only.

Queued for an age to park. Went in to find a handful of average stalls, so after 15 mins left and then had to fight against all the incoming traffic to get out. I think it has been over marketed and therefore far too busy for a small market.
