The Mill
A real fan of this riverside pub in the heart of Cambridge. It's pretty compact inside and you might have to wait for a table at busy times but tables turn quite quickly here so you won't have to wait too long. For real ale fans there is a great selection of beers from regular to craft..more than you can shake a stick at! Quality food menu with everything from Caesar salad to Jerk Chicken, all well cooked and given how busy it was delivered to the table quickly. It's dog friendly inside too! On a warm day the drinking area extends beyond the bridge and onto the grass outside, so pack a picnic blanket if that weather's good!!

Off hand, rude staff. As if serving/ being polite is a chore. And this was the general demeanour of all staff not just one. Plenty of better pubs to visit in this lovely city.

Such a lovely old pub with character. Very busy but lots of staff. Food cooked to order and tasty meals , but unfortunately not everything available on menu which is a shame for a Saturday. Quite squashed as small area but very lovely location and charming

Pub on the river, atmospheric. Great to see a vinyl record player knocking out the tunes. Good range of beers including Adnams. Bar meals, fish and chips burgers. Indoor seating for around 20.I would return again cosy, comfortable and good service

Reading the reviews this is definitely a Jekyll and Hyde pub. We had the surly, couldn't be bothered staff, seemed they'd all had a big row and hated the place and each other. And the food was the worst I've ever been served, ever! Very badly microwaved solid pakoras, undercooked chewy lentils and rice, I couldn't eat it, nothing to recommend it, even the beer was sour! No one in the bar at all when we left so we couldn't even tell them how disappointed we were. Only redeeming feature, the girl brought the dog a bowl of water!

Very nice, cozy place by the river. Food and service are good. It's usually crowded because it's close to the punting start spot. The atmosphere is good. Only cards accepted.

This is a really cute pub by the water. Lots of character and very busy. They have a record player where you can select an LP and change the music yourself. The prices are okay, but the food experience overall was poor. Unfortunately over cooked and dry - chicken wings and halloumi fried. The chips and mac & cheese bites were okay though. I would visit again the atmosphere is nice, but would not order food there.

I really like this place. Been here a couple of times and it is excellent for brunch. Extra points for the buttons we use to call the waiters. And there’s a mill inside which is a nice touch.

No drinks card, so you don't know the drinks price. I hasn't been asked if I wanted small or large glass of wine - the lady decided for me without information. Food - that was the worst Sunday roast I ever had. Meat cold, old potatoes, tasteless, blah. And overpriced. My friend's chicken was charcoaled. So many nice places in Cambridge I could go instead. :/
