Bought a large battered sausage & chips, sausage was hardly battered to say the least, chips were half cooked, waited 20 minutes & price was shocking for what we got! disgusting overall! Will boycott this lot! & will pass on this review to anybody & everybody!

Went here a few months ago and really enjoyed the fish & chips. Tonight however, was more than disappointing! Got the same meal as last time, 2 light fish & chips. This time the fish were tiny, the smallest one was about the size of a sausage, and at £3.60 each definitely not value for money. The chips were anaemic and cold, enjoyed the mushy peas but they were also cold. It was a different team on duty tonight, maybe that's a factor.

The order arrived in good time and the portion sizes weren't bad. However, we ordered a large cod and chips with gravy, a large battered sausage with chips and a regular battered sausage with chips and curry sauce. The cod had no flavour. I know its battered but it was so greasy that you could only really taste grease. The chips were undercooked, a good chip is soft and fluffy inside and these were still a little hard. The battered sausages were poor, barely any batter and were flavourless. Just a very bland and greasy meal not worth the money. The only thing with flavour was the bottles of coke.

Can't complain at all, good food, reasonable prices and polite staff. Although I took the food away on this occasion the general atmosphere is and always has been good here.

Went in to order 2x cod & chips which was roughly £12.15 from the prices above the counter. I was asked if I was eating in, I said yes. I was then told it would cost £21 to dine-in". No wonder it was empty! Err think not

Just had a delivery - the speed of delivery was spot on, but when I opened the bag up, there was the smallest bag of scraps I've seen and EVERY sauce was missing. The food wasn't overly hot too.When I called the restaurant up, the guy I spoke to was so unhelpful and basically told me to pick it up with the food ordering platform I'd used..basically 'tough'!Unbelievable really and a shame as I've used these many times before with no issues, but will likely go somewhere else now.

Our order for delivery was missing an item, chips were small portions for the price and the haddock was more the size of a fish finger. I e-mailed the contact who told me to get in touch with the shop directly to get it sorted. I assume that meant another delivery with additional items but as delivery to an hour that was not really an option. Poor service all round.
