North Hinksey Garage - Service Centre

I have visited the garage on two separate occasions over the last 3 weeks, both my children's cars. The service here is impeccable, I was kept informed with every process of fixing the cars and when problems occurred I was kept up to date. I even ventured down there to discuss the problems with them, where I was spoken to with complete respect and courtesy given the stereotype these days of women getting ripped off when taking their cars into garages. I was offered a hot drink whilst I waited and the cost of it all was extremely reasonable considering the work I had done. I highly recommend North Hinksey Garage, an absolutely lovely bunch of lads. Will not hesitate in taking both my childrens cars there, or mine in the future.

Brought in mothers car for an issue with the engine. The person was extremely helpful and gave great advice. Would definitely recommend this place. They’re very friendly and respectful, honest, and charge fair prices.

I can't state enough what an excellent level of customer service, care and attention North Hinksey Garage have provided me. Had multiple issues occur with the DPF on my Mazda 3 and each time the garage has gotten me in with no problems, often the next day as they have continued to care for my car. The labour prices are far cheaper than the garage round the corner I used to use and they even fixed the washers that were broken by another garage during a service! Fantastic pricing, excellent staff, I will never go elsewhere again!

The people at North Hinksey Garage (NHG) started looking after my car two years ago. It's 22 years old, large and comfortable and quirky. When I got the Audi, I planned to get it into shape for the long haul. Planned maintenance. NHG changed the cam belt and water pump; later an oil change; 2 MoTs: a complete set of tyres and more. I suffered a breakdown and NHG arranged to receive the car from the breakdown service and went on to fix it. This week NHG replaced the front suspension following MoT fail. New MoT now present. This is a garage for people who pay their own garage bills, but that doesn't mean you get less than excellent and knowledgeable service. On my last visit incontinent birds targeted my car and NHG arranged for it to be cleaned. Top service or what? They are welcoming and helpful.Recommended.

Had a fantastic experience with Senny!!! Had too much oil in my car, didn’t have an appointment, he saw me there and then, and sorted everything out!!! Definitely recommend them, great customer service!!!

Absolutely amazing service every time I’ve been, such a helpful and friendly team, super speedy while still being thorough and affordable! Great at explaining any issues they’ve fixed and giving advice on what to do next. Very highly recommend, would never go anywhere else!

These guys could not have done more to help. Having absent-mindedly turned up a day early to get my son's car through its MOT , not only did they manage to do it that same afternoon but also all the other little fiddly things I hadn't had time to correct before arriving.Not only that but they made no further charge beyond the very reasonable MOT test fee.I dealt with three different guys and they were all so Uber friendly and helpful .I'd imagined taking this very old Polo for an MOT was going to make for a rather stressful day... didn't realise it was going to be such a pleasure !Cannot recommend enough.

I want to massively commend and recommend North Hinksey Garage. Every time something goes wrong with my car, they do what they can to fix it there and then, if not- fit me in as soon as possible. They’re polite, respectful, cheerful and really inspire trust. They just stayed late to help me and even gave me a cuppa whilst they fixed my car and gave it a good look over before a long car journey tomorrow!
