Smallish shop but good selection of stuff

Nice range of products and the staff have always been polite to me.

Use this store couple times a month..I'm not a regular.bit do feel valued.coleag coll very pleasant..and helpfully .can't fault it ..

I was shopping there the other day I accidentally put my purse down while walking out. No one reminded me of my purse. Now it's lost they claim I walked out with it but I never.

Well the old lady was so rude to me, very close to be recist. This is the second time she insulted me, may be because I am an asian but this is not the way you should treat people. Uneducated bunch.

Almost all foodstuffs are expired and selling even after a month of expiry date. Bacon, milk, bread, buns, chicken etc. take extra care while grabbing. Please keep this store away. Today I saw bacon and buns expired ages ago and are still on the rack for selling. Health and food safety department please take immediate action for this negligence. Where is Aberdeen City Council and Food Safety Department???I don’t know the details for contacting Aberdeen City Council to report this issue. Pleae help me for contacting Health and Safety Department for addressing this matter to the concerned department to save public health..

Very friendly & Helpful staff work here at spar and it's quite a big spar to be fair 5 stars from me anytime.

I come from a different culture and while I was shopping at spar I had to take an important phone call. Now in my country it's not considered rude to talk (especially if it just a yes or no in a low voice answer) while you check your items out. The woman working there asked me if I was saying something to her. I said no sorry I am talking on my phone and she looked me with disgrace and told me that I am very rude. I asked her if she means it , because sincerely in my country it is not and I really did not mean to offend her. She said yes and asked the manager loudly, infront of everyone in the store to confirm it. I sincerely told her I was sorry. Wished her a great day and left. Even though for this culture I might have been rude, after explain the situation I find it really mean that she did that, and had that look on her face in front of everyone. I felt misunderstood and my experience was very bad. If she politely told me that this is not polite I would have definitely understood. That is why. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. Not only their prices are very high but they have a bad behaviour with the customers. I hope this does not happen to anyone else, especially if you come from a different background!

It's a local corner shop, everything you need is there and staff are always really friendly

Folk that work there are great, the post office is away to shut soon( this is June 2020) though. Parking ain't great.
