Facilities & general appearance of the site may not be to everyone's standards, depends on your expectations, but you can't fault the location! We love it there & the staff have always been lovely. Will definitely go back.

Brilliant place. Such friendly staff and hosts - Julie, Maureen, Ron, Billy... Clean shower block and nice hot showers! We camped with a tent - big field where we could choose our spot. Not too many people so it was perfect for the kids to play football with others, in the middle. And of course the beach is right there. Not forgetting the cheerful retro caravan coffee stop on the seawall (open Wed - Sun).We had a delicious lunch at the sailing club that is right there too. Check when it's open to non-members.The campsite now has a clubhouse that's open from 4pm each day, and bingo one evening, though we didn't go there. This is our second stay here and would definitely come again. So nice to be out in the fresh air and surrounded by well cared for green grass and the site generally. The kids went on a sunset walk up the estuary, and loved the adventure of it. Our friends did a walk to Beachy Head from the site. Stunning pics!A five star mini-break and could easily have stayed longer.

Unfortunately we had issues nightly of the people next to us throwing stuff at our tent and playing horrific sounds in that then became sexual. They would wait until dark around 9.30pm to start this behaviour, no security on site so we just had to put up with it. We did report it on our penultimate day where the lady said she would check their tag but that was it. I wouldn't return here as didn't feel safe, would stick to bigger parks with site security from now on. Oh yes and the train is incredibly loud from dawn until dusk, it has to hoot the horn incredibly loud as it passes through so it is very hard to get a good night's sleep. Just as I drifted off that would wake me up. Seems to be a lot of one night stays here to grab the ferry. It's also a long walk to the toilet block in the night so be warned!

What a great campsite. Right next to the beach with a promenade in both directions for those who have buggies. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

What a beautiful location. We stayed in our motorhome right next to the beach. The on site facilities were lovely and clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The beach is stunning and there is a beautiful walk to the ruins just right of the camp. I highly recommend this site for a stunning stay at such a low cost

Visited in my motorhome, a great location on the seafront with the lovely town of Seaford nearby. The railway & bus stop are just minutes away & Brighton just a short ride away. The site could do with some guidelines as people were arriving late at night, a neighbour had music really loud late too with a massive firpit burning into the night, his 2 dogs were also off leads & running around entering another motorhomes.Groups of roudy youths were wondering around in the early hours too.The shower facitilities are very basic & the toilet cubicles tiny, if you are on the larger size it could be a problem. So with just a few guidelines in place to respect others this site would be pleasant, a great stopover for the ferry too.

We stayed here in August. This campsite is the best one we stayed in on our holiday. Facilities were very clean and maintained. The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We will be definitely stay here again.
