Sherdley Park Golf Course

staff are brilliant in the pro shop and in the bar. the golf course is brilliant, especially for a beginner golfer like myself. greens are always nice and the fairways are in very good condition. the only problem i seem the have is the last 3 times i have booked the early tee off time (6:27am) and booked a buggy with it there's never anyone in the pro shop to give us the keys or buggy until 7am, meaning we are teeing off over half an hour late. i would just take the option of booking a buggy our for tee times before 7am.

We booked a 4:40pm tee time as a fourball after having several recommendations. We weren’t to be disappointed as the course was in fantastic condition. The course is challenging but enjoyable for a group of mixed ability golfers with, a great variety of holes and for only £19. Would highly recommend and looking forward to playing here again in the future.

I've played here in the summer, when the fairways where bare on the back 9, and now in the winter (Oct 23) the front 9 was a bog, so much so my trolley wouldn't move on it's own on most of the fairways. Yes, we did have bad weather, but charging £30 per round is an absolute joke for basically a glorified Muni, full of non golfers" bunking on

Course in terrible condition. No groundsman. They won’t shut the course when weather is bad as they just want to take money. £25 for a round in the mud is a disgrace. Could be a really good course if they took care of it and spaced out tee times

Wonderful meal, (the braised lamb shoulder special was lovey) great value for money. We were well looked after by Danielle and Ewan . We will visit again

By far the worst golf course I've ever played and it's not even close. I don't even think it can be called a golf course. It is more like a quarry with grass on.. yes it's cheap at £24 a round and from the tee box some of the holes look great.. what is also not an enjoyable course. It's extremely tight due to the fact the rough is about 8cm high so that is down to poor management or lazy green keeping and they just couldn't be bothered cutting the crass.. I have chips on my wedges from playing here and I'll never step foot on the course again...I will say the clubhouse was great and the people behind the bar were also fantastic

I've played here for many years. Off more than on tbh and was looking forward to playing again following its redesign. The front nine is very good but the condition of the back nine was really poor. So poor that the quagmire conditions from the 12th onwards completely ruined my round. Poor weather doesn't help I know but there's clearly an extensive drainage problem which appears to me to be not a quick fix. Paul

Great little clubhouse and facility before you start your round , very polite staff and always willing to helpLovely course to play on, very spacious with some big fairways for forgivenessVery well sign posted aswell to navigate around and the last 4 holes are amazing now they have been refreshed , a nice little touch too was they have Divot boxes on the way around and a box for broken tees so they are not harming the environmentI will be back in the summer as this is the course I have set a personal best at scoring a 118 which for my 5th round out isn’t too bad at all

Played on a Thursday the tees, fairways and Greens were lovely the only thing that let it down was the bunkers.... enjoyed the new holes and lay out... had dinner in the park restaurant which was fab .
