Visited today to pick up insulated plasterboard and a bag of skim, all sounds simple enough, found that you need to get served by the yard staff load up the van (yard man goes off to serve another customer whilst you finish loading etc) then you go and pay with a slip of paper that the yard staff gives you? I assume I was under surveillance cameras but it would be easy for me to drive away without paying? On a positive note great prices, great products and great staff.

Could not get the materials needed from B&Q or Wickes so tried Travis Perkins where I should have gone in the first place.Two chaps approached me in the yard, very friendly guys both happy to help, assets to the business. Overall a great service and also good stock levels.I would have only one suggestion to make an improvement going forward and that is, going to the trade counter to establish item prices to then go into the yard to find a someone and tell them what you want, they get it and write you a ticket to take back into the office and pay is just an inefficient use of time.

Not received such friendly , professional and knowledgeable service as I received from Shea and particularly Sharon at Travis Perkins Bulwell Nottm in a very long time . Both willing to go the extra mile even though my purchase was of low value . Such helpfulness is so appreciated in this day and age and I applaud the standard of quality service at this store !Mr. A. Came in last week for some wood to do my husband a surprise birthday present had no idea of how big I needed the wood. Gave my idea to Dave and Ben, they both went above and beyond to help me pull of his surprise present. Thankyou both so much ps he loves it

I will never shop anywhere else for timber supplies. Jay and Aaron have been absolutely amazing. The trouble they have gone to to ensure I had all the materials I needed (on behalf of my son) is second to none. I will not hesitate to recommend them to all and sundry. Excellent first class service thank you so much.
