Staveley Vets

I cannot recommend these vets highly enough, the receptionist are brilliant and super lovely!We were seen by Shelley the vet after we changed from another practice after weeks and weeks of no diagnosis , after one appointment with Shelley she listened to everything I had said and prescribed medicine for my dog and the change in him is unbelievable, we went from thinking he was at the end of his life to a completely new dog , I can’t thank them enough! If you are looking for a vets you should 100% use Staveley vets !

I have been registered with Staveley vets for roughly three years, since I got my first dog at 8 weeks old.They genuinely care, and are always accommodating. Luckily we dont need to visit that often, but when we do they always provide a great service, highly recommended.

We can't thank the vets enough for all they have done for our little dog. We had to go to an after hours emergency appointment, where our little girl had to have an operation to take her eye out. The treatment she received was excellent and we were surprised at the cost which was a lot less than most other vets. We highly recommend Staveley Vets.

Firstly the I found the reception staff friendly and one of the vets Lottie helpful and kind which is nice.But sadly the property is in dire need of a refurbishment. There is render falling off the walls, the gutters are overflowing, the windows need painting and cleaning, one of the benches outside has wood missing and exposed rusty nails, the consent clipboard they used is taped together badly (a new one is like £2) the back consultant room is extremely tatty (which does make you think what else they cheap out on that you can't see) and they don't seem extremely competent, like for example they have a communal water bowl for dogs (which has proven to be a way that disease is spread) and they messed up the medication that was provided for my pet. So even though they are generally lovely and warm people, when it's your pets health, I'd choose competency over niceness. So I would personally avoid Staveley Vets until they implement some much needed improvements.

Absolutely lovely staff, I found most vets are more focused on money, where as this small run vets, every member of staff love animals. You can really tell they put the animals first to ensure their looked after and treatment is given asap if needed. Sean was absolutely amazing in keeping us informed of our dog's progress and was very helpful and went above and beyond for both us as pet owners and our dog Cleo.We've put our kittens under their care now and still can't fault them. Would recommend to any and all pet owners.

I have two giant schnauzer both go to Staveley vets, the vets are very good professional caring, they will do thete best to get you in as quickly as possible very highly recommend

Just received a hand written card from the staff at Staveley Vets following the loss of our much loved dog Alfie.What a beautiful and thoughtful gesture.We had to take Alfie in on the 14th of June to say goodbye following a shock diagnosis.I have to say a huge THANK YOU to all the staff, you helped make a painful experience so much easier to bear.Thank you againAndy and Shirley
