South Coast Vehicle Restoration

I actually broke down outside this company a year ago with my turbo Honda S2000. The owner Alec came out to see what was going on and straight away I could see his love for cars.Fast forward a year and my car has transformed ,respray, metal welded arches,etc.Alec also took time to find every single rattle on the car turning it into a masterpiece that looks like it has just left the factory Floor.If you are looking for a one stop garage that treats your car as their own look no further I can highly recommend.

£11k for welding and I supplied all the new panels.. Car is a wreck, drove in and had to push it out 8 months later as a non runner.Disgusting, arrogant behaviour from the management.. Bad attitude, they think they are untouchable...

Popped into South Coast Vehicle Restoration get some scratches on the side of my vehicle looked at. Sorted straight away by the very friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

In April this year, i booked my Toyota Hiace day van into South Coast Restoration to have the rust sorted out & a nice new paint job. From a quick look over, the rust didn't look to bad, but as with this sort of work, that can change pretty quickly, & it did, in some areas, like under the rear spoiler, the rust needed to be cut away as it was so bad, & a new piece had to be fabricated from scratch, this also had to be done with the bottom of the front doors, & Alec made such a superb job of it that you'd think it was all still original. He found me a nice bright white, that is a Toyota colour & when the suns shining, it's blinding, & even though the van is now 24 years old, it looks like brand new :)Very pleased with the how the van turned out & with the service provided by Alec, he's very easy to talk to, & was happy for me & my mum to go check on the progress whenever we wanted.I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs anything done, from small jobs, right up to full restorations.

Classic mini bodywork repairs. Spoke with various members of the team before booking in and all of them were helpful with some good advice and clear communication. Quote was received on the back of photos and I was warned that it was just a guide due to them not seeing the vehicle prior to quoting (fair enough). This could have been an easy way for them to make some more money but they were honest and the price stayed the same. Mike who carried out the work was great, I visited a couple of times and he took the time to talk me through what he was doing and showed me lots of photos that he had taken along the way. Work was carried out swiftly, at a good price and to a very good quality that I’m very pleased with. I’ll be back in the future for sure.

Fantastic service. I have now had several of my cars restored by Alec who has a genuine love of all things on wheels. His attention to detail and enthusiastic approach is very appealing. When I had a horrendous deadline to get my BMW ready for the 100 year anniversary in september this year he worked through the night to get it ready.I'd highly reccomend his services. Very fair and excellent in describing whats needed.

Highly recommend SCVR having used them for both mechanical and body shop services on my daily driver and classic E-type Jaguar, Jensen, Studebaker etc.

Recently took my damaged car to these guys (scraped along one side and body work dented due to an unforgiving wall). They were friendly and approachable. They looked over my vehicle and provided a written quote the next day. They had a chance to fit me in quickly and in just over a week from my stupidity, my car was looking as new. Rapid service, written quote stuck to, car looks good. I can't see the repair, so that says it all. Very happy to recommend.

Had a great day on Saturday looking at the projects and the finished cars at the open day. Quality work and the paintwork on the Alpine was without imperfection.
