I had defected to other Persian restaurants for a while as the quality of food at Chelo had deteriorated. I decided to give them another try last night. I am glad I did! The quality has vastly improved thanks to the new chef Arsalan. Very tasty. Chelo is back! Thanks Arsalan.

The food tastes amazing! It can be a bit more friendly environment, but i would still go back for the food.

We ordered Kabab Torsh, Tahchin and Koobideh. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff are welcoming and the Tahchin is beyond the expectations! I Strongly recommend it :)

Lovely Persian food with friendly, attentive service. Tahdig with crispy top and fluffy rice. Juicy grilled chicken. Yummy generous aubergine dip. Such a gem in the neighbourhood!Edit: We went back for dinner and it was just as lovely and welcoming. The food and service are superior to another more expensive and popular Persian restaurant in London that we are also fond off! They don’t serve alcohol but you can BYOB (with corkage; we overheard).

The truffle olive appetizer was a letdown, lacking the truffle flavor, earning it a mere 3/10. However, the Kash o bademjan was delightful, deserving of a solid 9/10. Unfortunately, the main course, kabab torsh, was a disappointment as it was severely undercooked, appearing red and practically raw. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. While the ambiance was pleasant and the service average, the inconsistency in the food quality is concerning. Unless improvements are made, I'll hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

Amazing tasty authentic Persian food in this lovely restaurant. All the courses were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff and real nice decor in the restaurant. Highly recommend 5* :-)

I love the Iranian cuisine here in London—it's unparalleled, from the delectable bread to the impeccable service. While my admiration for the food knows no bounds, I do have a minor concern. The cozy atmosphere, while charming, poses a challenge when accommodating more than three groups simultaneously. Perhaps exploring ways to optimize the space without compromising its unique ambiance could elevate the overall dining experience for everyone.

Went to the Vauxhall one and I gotta say the food was excellent!The crispy rice filled with chicken was absolutely delicious. The kebab dish was also great.Definitely an amazing place to eat incredibly tasty Persian food .
