Great food for a family eat out. Reasonably priced and the drinks were good too. I can see this becoming a regular eatery for me and my family.

So my review is me just me doing a flying visit as we delivered an entrance easel and our baby boxes which we (Bolton Balloon Fairies) provide to hire. Upon entry you get the warmth family feeling, the decor is modern, the staff were very friendly and there was ample space to hold an occasion, there is an easy accessible wheelchair entrance and I would definitely recommend taking a visit whether it be for a drink, family meal or to have an occasion. A very well looked after place and was very clean.

Visited for the first time today on a Sunday at lunch time. Prices very reasonable, but the food was very poor quality. We ordered a children's meal, chicken burger, rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce and a smothered chicken burger and sweet potato fries. We waited an hour for our food despite the restaurant being empty besides our table. The steak was mostly fat, very chewy. Peppercorn sauce was watery and flavourless. Chunky chips incredibly oily, mushrooms overcooked and dry so I didn't bother to try those. Partners burger was a breaded chicken burger, overcooked he said the sweet potato fries were okay. The chicken burger for my daughter was not sent out instead a VERY dry and plain beef burger was sent out. No sauce no Lettuce. She didn't eat it. The staff were somewhat apologetic and took my daughters burger off the bill. We won't be returning.

Was booked as a party of 9 of us. Very busy. Food was good. But bit of issue with service and waiting for rest of the main meals ect hunters chicken came then waiting 10 minutes or more for the chips to come.. a young girl serving us was amazing . Nearly every table she was serving food.. waited a while to visit. Unfortunately didn't reach our expectations

Food.Atrocious, had a roast beef dinner, the beef looked like the old microwave packet beef, carrots and the quarter parsnip was soggy and covered in oil.the roast POTATO was ok ish, the extra ones i ordered were almost passable. Yorkshires were burnt on top ans swimming in oil inside. Cauliflower cheese had the cheapest cheese available an came cold. The gravy was passable.Beef burger was dry and flavourless and mildly warm and the fries were freezing coldChicken skewres were stone cold !!! And came with our main as if theyd been waiting the whole time.Service... miserable and seemed as they didnt want to be there more interested in friends that were around.Beer, first pint tasted yeasty.Overall, if you fancy a game of pool and a pint youll be ok, when it comes to food try a packet of peanuts !!!!

What a beautiful local pub, I went to see a live band play as they have them playing some Sundays and most Wednesday's. They play some very good songs and adds to a great evening out. They have some very nice draft beer including my favourite Flat cap from bank top, lovely pint. Great food as well. What more do you need on a Wednesday night good beer, good food and great entertainment.

It was the first time visiting the pub. We booked a table online for late afternoon (booking wasn't really needed as it seemed we were the only people eating). Our drinks and food order was taken. Drinks were served quickly. Unfortunately it took nearly an hour for the food to be prepared which didn't affect us as we were in no hurry. The sizes of the meals were very good, in fact we could not finish everything that was served. The quality was excellent. We will definitely be returning.
