Capture the Light Photography

Had a fantastic time at our mother-daughter photo shoot. Emma really put us at ease and made it a fun experience. We were so pleased with our photos and would highly recommend!

Emma was absolutely superb. We came to Emma for the first time for a newborn shoot for our 3rd child and its the best of all the newborn shoots we've had. She was wonderful with not only our newborn but also our sons, one of which did not want to participate at first but Emma was straight on it and got him involved in no time. Love her personality and energy, just lovely to be with. She captured such beautiful shots of our girl and us as a family, I adore them all. The studio space is lovely and all the wonderful props and back drops. It's been a perfect experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Emma is an amazing photographer!! I got the opportunity to have a maternity shoot which is not something I'd ever thought about doing because I hate having my picture taken. But the whole experience was amazing and she was perfect at making me feel relaxed and I really enjoyed the whole time I was there. Plus now I actually have some nice photos of my pregnant! I would 100% recommend Emma to anyone!

We took our 5 week old newborn to Emma for her mini newborn shoot and really enjoyed the experience. I was anxious taking her as she has been suffering with colic, but Emma quickly made us feel at ease and took care of our baby; assisting with finishing a feed and winding so we could sit back and watch her do her job. She was so calm and done a fantastic job at getting baby in the right positions and poses with little to no fuss from our little one. The photos we received are absolutely beautiful! I’m obsessed with the natural ‘boho’ vibe capture the light photography offers with the beautiful props and backdrops. The digital images were also sent really quickly! We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We booked a mini shoot at the local museum gardens with Emma & it was fantastic from start to finish! She was extremely patient with our son who really did not want to play ball & she managed to capture some beautiful pictures. Would highly recommend Capture the Light photography !

Emma is a baby whisperer! We couldn't believe how relaxed she made our newborn for all of the poses and with the different props! The whole experience was relaxing, easy and so lovely to have as a memory! We were initially worried about how our son may be but everything very much revolved around his needs. The photos are absolutely everything we could have hoped for! They're beautiful! Thank you Emma!
