Wallfinch have been providing home care services for mum since October 2022.I can not praise them enough for the companionship care and support they provide mum, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s.The carers are patient, kind and very reliable, and Monique and Caroline are always on hand to liaise with the family to ensure mum gets the right care required to continue living in her own home.We are very happy with the service they provide.

Walfinch Home Care have been great in supporting our mum. We've very much appreciated their home care. The extra companionship combined with additional personal care, has made a big difference to mum's happiness.I currently live overseas, and can't always be there as much as I would like to be. So I particularly appreciate the additional support from Walfinch. I'm also mindful of the additional pressures and stress, situations can place on my brother, with him being the main person dealing with day to day things. Support for him in supporting mum is important to me.The detailed reports I can read of daily visits and care are great, and helps me feel closer to the situation. I also appreciate the assistance and peace of mind knowing that any medications for anything have been taken.The carers also make it much easier for me to keep in contact with mum, on a regular basis, and be involved. They help mum to use Messenger and Skype so that we can chat face to face, and she can speak to her grand children. Mum has difficulty using social media without assistance, so this makes a big difference to her quality of life. If someone is there to assist, it means we can keep mum involved in our lives even though we're 6000 miles away,All the carers, as well people that running the care service, recognise the importance of the personal side to support.Walfinch have helped support not just mum, but our family generally. For me it feels like, in Monique, Caroline, Molly and Munashe, we've extended our family.

Walfinch have been providing support in the home for my dad who has Alzheimer’s and vascular Dementia over the last few weeks. Not only do Rachel and Molly provide much needed companionship for him they also help with household tasks and take him to his day care centre. My dad is always delighted to see them and would keep them with him all day if he could. The impact they have had on our daily routine has been incredible. We especially look forward to reading the daily report on their activities - they are so detailed we almost feel like we have been with them and can talk to dad about what he has been doing and enjoying during their visit. The carers are very professional, friendly, energetic and reliable. We also receive excellent support from the management in assessing my dad’s changing needs. I would highly recommend Walfinch to anyone requiring support in the home for their loved one.

I have been working with Walfinch for approximately 8 months now and I have thoroughly enjoyed my employment. I have been able to build great relationships with the service users I look after, and also the team. I feel valued as a member of staff, and look forward to continuing my role.

Started using them at the beginning of September to provide support for dad (who is 95 years old) whilst allowing him to be independent and continue to live a full life at home. To date I am extremely satisfied with both the care, support and friendship they are providing for dad and more importantly so is dad.
