Worst accomodation ever. Would rather live in a shoebox, in all fairness the shoebox is probably bigger than the room they provided and has thicker walls. Reception are as useful as shoes for an amputee.

Pretty good! All the facilities do their job, staff are very nice, willing to help. The events held were really interesting as well, allowing us making new friends apart from flat mates.

A truly awful experience. To start with, the quality of the rooms on offer for their price is woeful. The walls are paper-thin, the buildings are built like prison blocks, and the whole place has this permanently miserable atmosphere. Half of the buildings don't have lifts installed for seemingly no reason, and the rooms heat up like saunas with no way of cooling them down given that the half-open windows really do nothing. I'm not sure if it was staff oversight or just the standard quality bar of the building, but all of the metal in my bathroom was rusted to some degree, the toilet would always need to be flushed twice, and the kettle provided was so full of limescale that it rattled, clearly not cleaned between me moving in and the previous tenants leaving (which was apparently my job, according to the staff member at reception when I showed him the absolute state of the kettle, as he chuckled and handed it back)Speaking of staff, it's a total roulette whether you'll get someone competent. On weekends the male staff who were in would only know how to open doors with no knowledge of the technical side of the business of which I had time-sensative queries for (to quote directly; the girls in during the week know that

Booked for 18 days 22 Aug - 9 Sept. 541.25 pounds. They cancelled the booking the day after payment, even though booked 3 weeks beforehand. No refund given, 90 pound cleaning fee charged even though we did not set foot on the premises. Holiday completely ruined as had to scramble around with less than 24 hours notice to find somewhere else. Not much else was available. Refused to relent or give any kind of refund. One star is too much for their rotten attitude.

Very lovely place to stay, big windows which I looove, well spaced kitchen with to catch up with everybody else. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location close to town and rail station, quiet place to stay, not noisy. 10/10 recommend

I appreciate my time living here - it was safe, nice place, modern, all facilities and bills included, fast Wi-Fi, nice people, trying to help and support. And you were even feeding us. (I will miss your yummy breakfasts). Thank you so so much to everyone - and Maria and another older lady - I forgot her name - she cooked for us. They are amazing really. Beautiful people. Everyone was always friendly and welcoming. And special thanks to Nancy - she was like my angel here - very calm and kind. Giving nice advice, explaining things. I think this kind of support is very important when you are so far from your family. You guys were a nice family here for me. For sure.

Really glad to reside in this accomodation! Nancy, Alice and Sheila who help me throughout the whole process from Check-in to daily enquiries. Tesco Express and local grocery stores are just in the shooting range. The London Road campus is right in the next door, while the Whiteknights campus is about 6 mins of bus commute. City centre is also in the 10 mins of public transportation. Overall, I love the friendly on-site staff, brilliant free breakfast & other property events, and the fantastic location of the accomodation :p

Had a great 2 years living at Kendrick Hall staff are all friendly and helpful, social events have been awesome, especially the free breakfast every month. I highly recommend to any 1st year students looking for a fun place to live

Loved the accommodation for its calm and friendly neighbourhood. The staff at Kendrick Hall are genuinely friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend as an option for your stay in Reading. Moreover, we all know accessible is important to everyone and again Kendrick Hall is a walking distance from Town Center, Hospitals and so much more. The frequency of buses are a plus. Amazing place to live 10/10 facilities the staff go above and beyond for all the residence,especially Maria: she is super helpful and friendly and nice person. Sheila your team is the best love you all, it is a same that I have to move out !!
