Absolutely ridiculous. Taken me almost 6 months to open a bank account. Everything went online as they took the high street banks! Only to find their online system was rubbish. Took months of phonecalls back and forth then monthsto get a face to face appointment purely to open an account! Eventually it was opened only to be called back in to the bank as they needed to take a photo of my passport and DL which I brought in last time I was asked to come to the bank! Absolutely dreadful! So I've walked In today with the Passport and DL and they told me I have to wait for approx 1 hour! Wth!!!

Drove up to drop some cash in at the self service atm outside early before work. Only to find out the cash option wasn’t working it was only accepting cheques. Got to try find another self service atm or wait for a branch to open and go in work late. Not ideal.

Went into branch Stockport to ask for charity statements to be printed there and then as we had a donor who wanted to make a donation. But needed proof of figures and charity. Lady not listening or interested. Worst bank ever wish we had opened up with another helpful bank. Disappointed!

Supposedly a main town branch yet you can't pay in cash... Arrived at 3.10, 2 young girls lazing about leaning on a lecturn at the front, counter is closed. Asked how to pay in cash, told can only pay in notes on the self service machine and coins can't be paid in at all, have to come back during counter opening hours..... This is madness Barclays..... You are literally paying your staff to stand there and tell people they can't help them. If this is the way you're going just sack the staff and have the bloody machine.....

Not satisfied with your customer service, if I interacted with my clients, the way some of your representatives do, I would be out of business. The only plus point was the lady at the counter, if only the rest of the staff could be as polite and friendly and welcoming as she was. I wish I knew her name because I would really praise her service skills

With so many banks closing its getting harder to find a branch. Barclays Stockport is not a good location. The town it's self is depressing,work to improve it is taking forever and parking in town is poor. I'm sure it won't be long before this branch closes. The only plus was the staff were very helpful.

Needed to get some software set up for my accountant and the phone assistance wasn't great. Popped into Stockport in the hope that they would assist and the two girls on the counter were fantastic. They gave me step by step instructions on my laptop and overcame a few hurdles to ensure it was all set up correctly. Absolutely fantastic service

Terrible services provided at this branch. As staff are of an elderly age thy are unable to work machine quick and efficiently. Clearly either equipment or training is not up to standard. Machines have held back deposits because thy jam up over 5 times atbthis branch over 6 months. This is unacceptable as it has caused me to miss payments for business and personal reasons. There needs to be a better face to face service provideed at all branches as the quese in the bury town center branch are worse with less equipment and many usere needing face to face counter services. Over 3 staff are not behinfmd the till stood at door that could provide counter services but are not, instead thy are wasting there time. This naturally aggravates customers yet branch managers are unable to do anything about it.

Extremely rude lady on the business desk this morning. I had been waiting at the front of the line and she said something to me (very quietly), so I thought she had asked me to come to the counter. She then proceeded to snap that she was dealing with another customer. I apologised very politely and said I had misheard, and she proceeded to give me the dirtiest look and shake her head at me as if I was a naughty child at school.Totally uncalled for! I completely understand that work can be stressful and that customers can be a pain, but I had apologised and I don't think warranted that response at all. Bad moods should not be taken out on customers! Whilst another (amazing) lady was helping me, the lady that had been rude continued to be snappy with her colleagues. Totally unprofessional and no need at all to be treated like that.
