Our order was received damaged, I emailed the company straight away showing details of the damage and the damage to packaging. I was promised a refund which never came, chased it up and again was told it would be done. The refund for the damaged goods has never been issued. AVOID THIS COMPANY they take your money then couldn’t care less.

Ordered a panel on the 17th of may its turned up snapped in half! The courier damage is unfortunate but can happen.26th may they said you were sorting a replacement4th june i asked where is it still not received, they said it will be with you Thursday 9th9th june nothing arrives i send another email they again said they were sending one out17th june im refunded with no explanation customer still waiting, me still waiting i have to email you again to find out what's actually going on. I message through the instagram as they still haven't got in touch to which im greeted by condescending replies that suggest that because I'm only ordering one panel my business doesn't matter anyway. I ordered a panel on the 17th of may and its now the 19th of june ive got nothing. Really dissapointing that a company can make smaller businesses like myself feel insignificant we are all just trying to make a living.

Excellent wood delivered with excellent service. Naturally I read the reviews before purchase as well as the detail on the excellent website. It was clearly obvious that the bad reviews were from people who didn’t do so. My driver was very helpful and considerate on delivery and went the extra mile storing the panels for me in my workshop. I have now completed my customers project ( a wardrobe) he is delighted. An oak look without the price tag. The Oakley boards are lighter than oak both in weight and price! I will be back for more for sure as the wood is excellent to work with.

First class service and excellent product. We required hardwood wainscoting for our offices and we are very pleased with the quality that was delivered. We also ordered the matching dado rail and skirting which were also very good quality. Communication with their sales team was good and they were very helpful with advice for fitting and finishing solutions. We will definitely buy from them again.

15th July - plce order of ‘in stock’ wood panel22nd July - heard nothing on delivery date so emailed company24th July - told it would be delivered ’this week’28th July - no details received so emailed company again28th July - told the order would be delivered Monday 1st August1st August - no delivery details provided and order not received. Attempted email (no reply), web chat (no response) and phone (answer phone full).2nd August - company claims attempted delivery which was not the case (I was home all day) and then issued a refund.Don’t waste your time!

We have ordered from The British Wood Panelling Company twice now. Both times the quality of the wood has been beautiful. We've used the worktops for a kitchen table, office desk and play tables for our children. Brilliant communication from the company to organise delivery too, will order again in future I'm sure.

I decided to take a gamble buying sheets of laminated pine online - they were a really good price and the staff were really helpful and friendly. They even put up with me having to cancel my order due to covid restrictions where I live - and then I reinstated it a day or two later! The added complication of living on an island did not phase them. They couldn’t have been more patient and helpful.And the quality of the product is excellent. Better than my local timber merchant, considerably cheaper (despite the additional shipping costs) and got to me in less than half the time via the ferry and the joiner who cut the wood for me! I will definitely be back.

I've had a really good experience with the company. Dave is an absolute legend and the most pleasant person I've ever done business with. He went the extra mile to help me out and even though I only ordered 3 furniture boards, he made me feel just as important as I was one of the big clients. I will definitely come back to him in future. As per the boards themselves, they look really nice and are great alternative to ridiculously expensive oak.

I thought ordering wood from this company would be easy and efficient from reading reviews BUT...........I placed an order on the 7th January and received confirmation of this and that I would be notified when it would be sent.No contact was made so I emailed to follow up.Email received on the 16th January, to say that lockdown had slowed deliveries..No communication, I followed up where my order was and received an email on the 28th January to say due to port delays it would be with you in 4 days. The email finished off with “As soon as your order has been dispatched we will contact you to book in your delivery.”The 4 days and more past and still no communication.Follow up email on the 8th February. No responseLive chat on the 10th February to be told that it was out for delivery that day. Panic mode as no communication..I was informed that the driver would be contacting me to let me know what time he would be arriving.The driver contacted me to let me know it would be 5pm that day. Arranged someone to receive the delivery at that time.At 5.15pm the driver contacted me to say it would be 6.30pm that day instead. So again arranged someone to be there.At 7pm the delivery hadn’t arrived. Contacted the driver who informed me he had broken down and the delivery wouldn’t be until the next day.So me organising to get someone to be there to accept the delivery was a huge stressful afternoon/evening.11th February, no call to say what was happening, 9.30 I called the driver again for an update.The van was still broken, he asked if i could organise someone to go collect from him.I did this, incurring at my own expense, someone to collect the wood from the back of his van.If I couldn’t have done this then what would of happened to my delivery?As you can see I am not a very satisfied customer. Having to chase my order information and arranging people for the delivery, to be let down, and then have to arrange the wood being picked up myself.Would I recommend this company? I will let you decide.
