Blackfriars Road Food Market
The aromas alone as we walked toward this place gave a very positive impression. There's a decent range of Asian foods with very reasonable pricing. Some of the stands gave free samples to whet our appetites and it worked for some of us. I opted for a Pad Thai with spring rolls and paid by contactless. All of the staff at the food market were friendly and polite with the food easily living up to my expectations. I would happily have lunch here again.

A small selection of food stalls (around 5/6). There were chinese, thai, fafellas etc.The gentleman at the first 2 stalls was really friendly and kept getting me to try a sample of his food. The food itself isnt the best but pretty decent and large portions for the price.

Kofte hut was awesome. Owner was so friendly and food amazing. Good prices and a bit of a hidden gem. Forget borough market and come here for lunch

A bit of everything for everyone. Dont be too put off by the queues for the Falafel line, it goes down quick and it's well worth it!

Great little market just behind Southwark Station. Highly recommend the falafel store and their wrap... my go to for lunch when working in the office.

The market in general is so cheap in some places, but I wouldn't consider the amount of choice you have comparable to most other markets. Its lacking in that department for sure. There is a fair choice though and like I said the value for money is really good at most places.

Really great food; falafels, kebabs, rice, noodles. Quite a small space and cold while waiting for food in winter. Big portions for roughly £5. Would recommend
