I have just been to this sport direct I been served by a lovely lady called nieti she was so nice and great costumer service but that’s 2 ladies from romania they horrible no professionalism at all shame on them

Popped there today to get some trainers, found a decent pair of reebok classics for £42, took me a while to find someone on the floor to see if they have it in my size, eventually they came out with a pair, which had a mark going over the top of the trainers, I asked if they have another pair which they said they didn't so I asked if I could get a discount. The woman at the counter said I could get a 5% discount.. charged me over 42 pounds I didn't even look at the price I just tapped my card. And when I got home I realised hang on a minute why did I just pay over 42 pounds when it was 42 pounds and was supposed to have a discount applied. Really annoying that I didn't check before leaving the store. Not going back there again il go to the one near woodgreen instead.

Decent array of clothing and footwear. The store is also quite spacious.

It’s a good shop but the workers there always watching us clearly one of them called the police and a officer asked my brother are you going to buy that acting as if we weren’t going to buy it the security constantly watching us and one of the women at the desk constantly getting my brother walking up and down refusing to return what was his even tho he showed his receipt. One of the ladies who he payed his clothes at was so lovely and the guy who went to get his shoe was nice. But the police clearly judged us even tho I was with my baby and judged he didn’t have enough money for his clothes. And then when we told him we bought it he went well done.

So cut the story sort me and my wife went in to sports direct upstairs 1st floor to pick up sports equipment there was an eastern european lady by the name of Christine who lied to us saying that the tills are not working and you have to go downstairs anyways I asked the lady downstairs are the tills working upstairs she said yes but they are closed so she lied to us because my wife was wearing a head scarf so she didn't want to help us people like her who are racist should not be working there and be a supervisor!

Asking for shoes in different sizes seems like a real inconvenience to staff. How else is one supposed to try them?

If you are a sports lover never miss this place. Best shop to buy sports related items. Located at leyton mills. They have huge collection of jackets, shoes, sports wears etc. I found some interesting games and Xbox in the gaming section. My friends brought good quality winter jackets from there. This place is quite near go leyton tube station.
