Went to Stourport for the day with our 2 young kids because the weather was nice, and we decided to grab a bite to eat here. Sadly, we waited over an hour for our food. When we asked one of the waiters where our food was, he said he’d find out for us, and then walked past us a number of times without making eye contact with us, so we asked again and he snapped ‘I haven’t had chance to look yet’. When he finally did check, he said that there was 5 tickets ahead of us and that we should have been told at the bar that there was an hour wait for food, which we were not told. Regardless, we had already been waiting over an hour at this point. The food was decent when it finally came but nothing special, I had Nachos which were just cheap nacho shaped crisps with sauce & bacon on them, and the kids Spag Bol was dry & not very appetising and my daughter hardly touched it, I’d have asked for something else only I didn’t want waste another hour of our day out waiting! Our 2 young kids were hungry and bored, on a nice hot day. We wasted a good chunk of our day out in this pub. Shame because the location is excellent but we won’t be returning again.

Ordered two lasagnesHeavy on the stringy cheese but no real taste unfortunately, garlic bread but bread not toasted so very soggy and soft, chips and salad good.

Transformed internally since Davenports bought it from Wetherspoon and renamed it The Port House. Two Davenports ales and a wide range of other beers. We didn’t try the food offerings but the menu looks good. The outside terrace area will shortly be extended, with decking and a raised stage for bands.

Absolutely incredible place and staff, our venue was cancelled last minute and Chris was there very attentive and there through everything, sorted the food which was very reasonable in price, all the staff on shift, Donna (lovely woman) Rachel, Alfie & everyone else on shift last night me and my mom can’t thank you enough. She had a great 60th!!If you’re looking for a venue for your party I’d definitely book here :)

Stopped off for a breakie on a bike ride... Very nice breakfast and fair prices... Would eat here again. Although service is slower than should be expected especially as there were only a few customers in.
