Terrible customer service. I went to the jewellery quarter with my mum as I wanted to purchase gold earrings for my helix piercing. When asking the shop assistant if they had any in store her response was “we don’t sell fake jewellery, this strip only sells real gold”. Making assumptions based on stereotypes because of how someone looks is disgusting, at no point did I ask for fake jewellery and would not be in the jewellery quarter wanting fake jewellery. They should be ashamed. I was left feeling embarrassed and disheartened due to the ignorance and racism displayed. Thankfully we were able to go to an alternative store in the jewellery quarter where I was able to purchase “real gold” earrings.

My partner and I spent hours looking at wedding bands in countless stores in the Jewellery Quarter. The Diamond Centre were incredibly helpful and really made us feel welcome without being push like a lot of the other shops. They recognised me every time I came back in and my Fiancée and I are absolutely thrilled with our new wedding rings. Great price, helpful friendly team.

My partner had designed a specific engagement ring which was not available in any shop. I took the picture around the Jewellery Quarter and was told by the majority of shops that it was not possible to make for anything under £14k which was far out of my budget.Mike and his daughter gave me very honest advice as to how to make it more affordable which I followed. I then took the updated design around the shops and hardly anyone was able to create this ring. The few that did, said it would take a minimum of 10 weeks. Mike had the ring made in 2 weeks. Not only this, the quality of the centre stone was absolutely amazing. I paid for an SI2, colour H diamond but received a stone of far superior quality.Not only was the product excellent, Mike put me at ease throughout the manufacturing (he could tell I wasn't used to spending big money) and made the whole process very smooth and relaxing. He also offers free resizing and discounted insurance.The Diamond Centre is one of the few places in the area that is a genuine, local, family business and I recommend them to anyone wanting experienced experts in the field with high quality.

A diamond came out of my engagement ring. We had used the Diamond Centre for many years when the owner John Cox was alive. We had always had excellent service & knew our purchases were always high quality items. Mike & Selena gave us various options & I ended up having a new head for the ring & my stones reset. I was thrilled with what they did & my ring looks better than it ever did before . I highly recommend the Diamond Centre.

A family business ran by honest, highly experienced people. We had a ring made and another significantly altered and the quality was superb as was the overall experience.Highly trustworthy and did exactly what they said they would - with a smile and a laugh.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting sensible, honest advice.

Very disappointed, bought an engagement and wedding ring 33 years ago from here and due to wear and tear it needed repair. Took it back and had a quote for £150 for repair and replacement of a small diamond which had been lost so on that basis agreed to go ahead. Received a phone call a few days later to say it would actually cost £375 for the repair. I thought the difference in quotes unreasonable as the centre had previously been able to make a thorough inspection and I would consider an expert" to be able to at least get a ball park figure

I recently went to the Diamond Centre, upon recommendation from a friend.Upon arrival I was greeted by Mike and his team and they made myself and my fiancee feel comfortable and immediately at ease while Mike took us through the specifics of what we needed to know when purchasing diamonds (including the usual 'Four Cs' but also broader topics such as cutting centres, certification processes etc.)Following this, Mike helped us select a diamond (oval) and set it on a gorgeous pave gold band - exactly what my fiancee was looking for! Needless to say she was very happy.I cannot thank Mike and team enough for their welcoming nature, expertise, and quality of service and product. I would recommend the diamond centre to anyone from both Birmingham and further afield who's looking to add some sparkle to their life.Thanks everyone!

I have been a customer of the Diamond Centre for many years and have always found them friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgable. Every time I visit I enjoy an informative chat about gemstones. I recommend all my friends to Mike and his lovely staff. I tell everyone who is contemplating a visit “You May buy cheaper jewellery but you will not get better value”. Simply the best!

In my experience, excellent service, products and a warm welcome can always be guaranteed when visiting the Diamond Centre. Having purchased my wife's engagement ring, and our wedding bands, we have frequently pointed our friends and relatives in the direction of the Diamond Centre.Not being particularly familiar with the high end of the jewelery market, I felt somewhat daunted initially, walking in amongst such beautiful and impressive displays; My apprehensions were totally unfounded.Immediately made to feel welcome, I was soon being helped and advised in the friendliest manner, by Mike. A knowledgeable and informative gentleman. There was no salesmanship, and I wasn't made to feel pressured to buy.The advice given was most helpful in making a choice, and compared to other outlets in the jewelery quarter, (where the sales staff were less than interested) the whole experience exceeded my expectations.I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for quality jewelery, that they visit Mike and his friendly staff. You will be as impressed as me, without any doubt.

Myself and my Fiancé recently bought an engagement ring through Mike Christopher at the Diamond Centre. And I don’t normally write reviews but our experience and delight is so great that I feel compelled to give a review.I did lots of research, and planned meetings with afew Jewellers. We both decided on Mike because he never tried to sell us anything, he was very generous with his time and patience over the weeks I was in contact with him. The Diamond Centre have relationships with a network of Diamond Brokers and pulled in stones that were exactly what we were after. We got exactly what we wanted, and I bought from someone whom I’m glad to spend my money with.
