Croft Cottage, The Lodge and Campsite

Amazing little camp site. Bill made us feel very welcomed here. He arranged volley ball in the evening for children and adults which was very nice indeed. In the morning, Bill brought the children to feed 3 lovely alpacas and chicken. He gave us the eggs from the chicken which were super delicious. Toilets and showers were very clean. There was hot water for shower and washing up sink.

Absolutely lovely little campsite. Just what we look for. A small clean site with great amenities and run by people who care. Thanks for a lovely week.

It's a perfect campsite. Bill and Helen have created a wonderful place! It's clean, friendly and with great facilities. (I'm writing this while watching Bill umpire a volleyball match between all the children on the site!!)

Great little place, quiet, just walking distance from sandy balls if you want some entertainment, very clean and staff really helpful. Definitely recommend

I have mixed feelings about this campsite. Booking was easy and we were kept up to date with everything we needed to know. The site was in the perfect place to visit a plethora of places including Mudeford quay, new forest and Bournemouth. The pitch sizes were large enough to accommodate our 8x10 tent and a large car. The toilets and showers were cleaned regularly and the site had a very family friendly with no way of children escaping, badminton nets, a slide and the alpacas. The downfall of the site was that when booking, it was stated that we would be able to use Sandy Balls Resort next door. This is in fact not the case at all. After speaking with the owner on arrival, he said that the resort had gone upmarket and is unlikely to let us use anything there, even though he was aware of this, he hadn’t updated his sites profile. We went and spoke to the resort and they informed us that you were not allowed to use any of the facilities on their park under any circumstances. The main reason we booked this site was because the advert said we could so this was hugely disappointing. Unfortunately we probably wouldn’t use this site again.

Such a nice place, Bill the owner is really helpfuland and friendly. Completely safe. Great family holiday

Our second visit to the lodge, it was great to see Bill and Helen again and made to feel so welcome.A great location and the kids enjoyed use of the all the play facilities provided. Our youngest loved helping to feed the animals in the morning and the location is perfect to explore the forest on foot. Also handy on the rainy day are the passes for Sandy balls as the girls managed to get in plenty of swimming and make use of the gym.The lodge was clean and comfy as usual and now has the added bonus of Netflix added for those relaxing evenings.We look forward to returning again soon.
