Dartmoor is stunning and this visitors centre is really close to one of the many ancient stone bridges giving a fantastic opportunity for some typical Dartmoor photographs. Nearby is a small shop and post office. Ample parking for a small charge in the public car park. Motorhomes can park here too (not overnight)

Great visitor centre with extremely helpful staff. If you struggle with the parking machines you can also buy a ticket from the counter.Perfect place to start a walk with useful facilities here and a shop just next door for supplies.

Really good advice from very friendly staff in the park visitor centre. Lovely walk around the Bellever woods area. Up towards the tor. We read it was an accessible walk, however we checked it out and we don't think it's good for our daughter in her wheelchair, but a great walk for us. Highly recommended, lovely views.

Nice visitor centre with handy toilets. The car park is a pay and display which seems a bit mean considering the Bellever Forest car park just across the road is free! It’s a good hub to walk from. There’s a nice walk across the moors to Grey Wethers stone circle from here. It’s also a good place to take a stroll into Post Bridge village where there’s a pub, post office and ancient medieval bridge.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff in the visitor centre. There is a small museum and and exhibition about the local area which helps to explain the development of the moors. Great interactive displays for children. Just down the road is the iconic bridge, well worth a look and photo opportunity.

Friendly welcome and great exhibition on the early peoples of the moor. Small selection of gifts. Good size car park - shame it charges. Good toilets and great place to start walks from. The clapper bridge nearby is very special and there is a nice, useful little shop next door too.

Very helpful in the centre. Very good interactive displays and an excellent selection of local books. Safe and secure car park for wild camping too, just don't leave any valuables in your car.

Always a pleasure to visit, healing too. Finding that rubbish was a first. Such a shame people need to be educated, perhaps we need to bring back the 'keep Britain Tidy' campaign. Otherwise a lovely visit
