I've been a member for a short time only but I have already received help in multiple occasions. Everyone has been really nice and helpful

Absolutely Useless and incompetent bunch of individuals who not only bail out when you need thier help but go a step further and jeopardised my payment because they failed to honour the legal timelines they agreed to, causing me a loss of thousands. The only thing they like to do is follow up almost immediately if you cancel. Stay clear!!!

The initial reps are not legally trained so misadvise you. Not intentionally, but what a waste of time and stress for the regional reps to then tell you after all the legwork it’s all been for nothing.

The point of being in a Union is that when there are times of trouble they are there to help, support and communicate to members,I've been on Furlong since March and have had no information from my union.I get more information from other union members in other areas of the country than from my own area. The convener at my workplace ignores my emails even with legitimate questions (How is the Union making sure that the company is bringing back people in to workplace in n non discriminative? I got no response)I get no information about what is happening in the workplace, what the union are doing etc just feel abandoned. Is absolutely appalling and after a lifetime of being not only a member but deeply involved in union in East Midlands area I will be thinking about cancelling my membership, as what is the point of me paying £15 a month being a union member? when I needed my union it was not only not there to support me it ignores my questions too.

I had very good support when I needed it a few years ago on two occasions. Further down the line I haven't needed the intensive support as my employment prospects improved. I'm still grateful to Len in Bristol for his help at the time.
