First time staying in a motorhome on this C&M site. All grass, great location, short walk to village. Dated showers and loos, but clean . Staff (Paul) very welcoming.

lovely little course, easy access to everything (inc. parking) only issue would be the distance from the parade ring to the track without premier tickets

A lovely country course with a decent standard of flat racing.We visited in May on an evening of heavy rain. We nearly decided to drive past because of the weather but we are glad that we didn't.We bought Premier Enclosure badges, so had access to all areas.When you walk in you're greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. The entrance opens up onto the parade ring which is typical for a country course. Plenty of room to see the horses parade.The facilities are very good.You have a traditional pub with cask ales, a seafood bar and a vibrant bar overlooking the finishing line.The crowd was sparse because of the weather, so it was very easy to get a seat in the stands but there was also plenty of room on the viewing terrace and lawn.Seven competitive races followed with good information over the pa system.Parking was easy so access in and out of the course wasn't a problem.The toilets were very clean and of a high standard.

A good day out. Thirsk is a nice course for flat racing. Plenty of parking durectky across the road from the course and lots of food and drink options for its size. Could do with a bit more outdoor seating on sunny days.

Stayed on the caravan park. Bit wet there as there are only grass pitches but was sited somewhere we could get off easily. The wardens there are amazing.

Always enjoy Thirsk racecourse. Good bars, and general food.Really good singer playing beforehand between races on the last day I was there.

Great place where the annual Scoobyfest UK car show is held.Always full of nice Subaru cars for those who likes them or for any other car enthusiasts.
