Vets4Pets Norwich Hall Road

Good vets, usually very quick to get an appointment. Conveniently located to the south of the city and has plenty of free parking.Vets seem to be very good at handling dogs .Only improvement could be the waiting area as it's difficult to hold more than one dog so close together.

Waited 50 minutes, even though I had an appointment? Nurse put me into a room, told nobody and left for the day. Had to complain 3 times to see a vet. Reception had to save the day.Could not wait in the cat area, as dog owners were sitting there and had their dogs on leads. Had to stand at the back of the cat food in the shop, as my cat is nervous.The vet charged me £77 even though I had a healthcare plan. The receptionist saved the day, again, and had it changed to £39.Walk-in customers were prioritised over people who had booked an appointment.Reception keeps this place running, without them, it would fall. They deserve a bonus, they are fantastic.The vet was very knowledgeable and great when I did see her. Not impressed by the Nurse not telling anyone before leaving work. I'm guessing the vet had to pick up her error last minute? If I had not complained, I would have been waiting for over an hour before being seen.No one came out to say I would be seen, I had to be blunt to say I had been waiting 50 minutes. It was chaotic. Receptionists are supportive and very hard-working.I could hear all the staff in the computer back room complaining and moaning about being at work, or this and that busy nattering away and leaving all the stress to the poor receptionists whilst I was left in the consultation room.They need to employ another staff member at reception for support during peak hours. It is a good vet but I think staff in the back should help receptionists more?

Pleasant staff cannot fault either vet or receptionist. Good customer service. I was a veterinary receptionist for 15 years before I retired so understand the importance of good customer service.

Lovely staff, lovely vets! My dog was hurt in an accident and cracked his head open - literally! (Butted heads with his best friend, a very sturdy Labrador). The staff were wonderful and helped us so much. Talked us through every stage of care, explained all the options. I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation! My dog is now happy and healthy and back to his usual playful self.

12 years ago i lost my Rusty i had for 18 years , and today i lost my other dog i had for 14 years the 2 most traumatic times in my life vet Stefan was there, i have had pets my whole life and still have 8 dogs and 5 cats today i had my baby strawberry pts and half the battle dealing with it was when i found out Stefan was still at pets at home i new my baby was in the right hands ( i thought he’d left ) i dont trust vets and have never met one in my 40 years of owning pets one that has ever cared about the Animal only the money untill Stephan i know being a vet is a living to make but he cares more for the Animal than he does the financial side 1000% recommendation PETS AT HOME HALL ROAD VET STEFAN AND ASSISTANT MILLY ❤️thankyou x ps sorry wouldn’t recommend ANY othet vets or branch its all about the money

They were very lovely and understanding staff members. They helped me make decisions about my cat’s end of life without pressuring me or making me feel judged, they were very supportive, gave me lots of options and overall they were very kind.

My cat is very nervous and they picked up on this straight away and as I was early for appointment they got me in early. Highly recommend this vets every time I have visited such great service from the reception staff to the nurses and vets. Thanks again

Took our cat to have a couple of teeth removed and instead of doing the procedure he was left in a total state having had two lots of sedative. At 11pm at night he was still passed out and not responsive. The emergency vet would have given him something to counter this if we had known what sedative he was given. Very worrying and would never take one of our pets there again.
