Great place to work, wonderful people to work with around you, multinational​ environment, skilled and helpful supervisors, very good managers with people skills, 3 shifts pattern, you get paid according to your skills and experience. You must know that this is a fast paced environment factory" unsuitable for lazy people

I have been very impressed with Avalon Plastics as they have supported young people with positive work experiences and they have been incredibly helpful in assisting us in work placement visits.Staff and students have commented on how welcoming and informative staff have been at Avalon Plastics.

A few good people but overall I found it to be a genuinely horrible environment with terrible ethics. I fear the company places absolutely no regard or gratitude towards staff. It's a dark and gloomy place and I rarely saw anyone smiling or looking happy.

I really enjoy working at avolon plastics, I have been here 5 years and can't fault the company one bit.A great team of people to work with, the management are very down to earth and very approachable to talk to.You are thought of a person here not a number I look forward to many happy years ahead.

management over work you then spend the whole shift screaming and talking about you to other workers. They put such a work load on you that you struggle to keep up and then you get screamed at for not being able to do it. I'm tiny really and they put just as much work on me as they do a young fit lad. they take advantage of people that just need some work. HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK, SHOULD BE BLACK LISTED FROM ANY AGENCY!!!!

I really enjoy working at Avalon Plastics, Avalon offers those employees who wish to progress within the company the opportunity to reach their goals with internal & external training, I am a great example of this. The business has a great heath & safety culture, with senior management & directors invested in providing a safe working environment for everyone.The manufacturing area can be as you would expect for a company providing customers with plastic components, busy, sometimes noisy & the work can be a little repetitive, if you are not familiar with a factory environment it may take you time to adjust & settle in, however, you are allowed to listen to a personal radio and to drink tea, coffee & cold drinks.During the hot summer months, employees are provided with free cold fizzy drinks & ice lollies that are delivered by the managing director & senior managers.At Christmas time, all employees are given agift & time off to relax & to spend with their families.Avalon has numerous staff who have been with the company for many years, with a majority of them being employed for over 25-30 years!! I myself have been with Avalon for over 13 years & in that time they have invested in me and given me the opportunity with training to build a career.I look forward to another 13 years.

I have worked here for over 9 years and I have really enjoyed being part of the workforce. Hard work pays off and promotions are available. I feel appreciated and look forward to many more years here.
