My sister and I have been traveling around Scotland and Ireland for 2 weeks and this spot was our favourite for sure! The rooms were very well decorated and clean, and David and Catherine were amazing hosts! They went above and beyond expectations. We enjoyed talking to David (he had the best advice for where to eat, visit, etc) and the breakfast was amazing! I really recommend visiting Glencoe for its breathtaking views, and this is the place you should stay at for sure!Thanks so much Catherine and David!

We couldn't feel more at home and taken care of. The room was very beautiful, cozy and well equipped. Newly renovated bathroom. Breakfast was just restaurant quality, yummy! You have everything you need around the guesthouse. After a very rainy walking day, our wet clothings could hang in the dryroom, so comfortable. Beautiful walks all around, we did Pap of Glencoe wich we very mich liked to do!. Also very scenic drives! Multiple restaurants with very good quality of food, supermarket and little cafe and shop in Ballachulish.

David was such a delight to get to know. He made our stay comfortable and we felt so welcome. He's an excellent cook and sent us off with a full belly every morning. We loved our room, we loved the house, and the location was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom had been recently renovated and they supply all amenities you could need. Our bed was comfortable and we loved our view out into the little garden. We have already started planning a return trip to the Glencoe area and we hope to be able to spend our stay with David again!

Marvelous! David's breakfasts are the highlight. Excellent fresh ingredients and attention to details. Salmon, kippers, Scottish, and more! It will make your stay memorable. Perfect...quiet...neighborhood is a delight. Absolutely recommend!

Everything was superb - the room was tastefully decorated and everything was spotless. I loved the locally sourced soap and moisturiser so much I visited the Highland Soap Co. to buy some. The breakfast was very tasty, lovely coffee too, and they catered for my dietary requirements completely. So much thought had gone into everything. David and Catherine are the best hosts imaginable. Great location for visiting Glencoe too. I would absolutely recommend Fern Viĺla. Thank you!

The Fern Villa was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were very cutely decorated and the hosts, Catherine and David, were very accommodating. They had many options for breakfast. I would highly recommend this place for visiting Glen Coe.

Fernvilla was by far the best decision we could have taken for our stay in Ballachulish. The hosts, Catherine and David, make you feel welcome from the first look. They are so lovely and renovated their guesthouse with an eye for the detail. The breakfast is delicious and prepared individually for every guest. They'll not hesitate to help you with recommandations for a good hike or a hidden lookout spot. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time at Fern Villa. On our roadtrip through Scotland, Fern Villa was the B&B that we loved the most! Our room was very cozy and decorated with a great sense for detail. Very comfortable beds also. The breakfast was excellent with many local products. David and Catherine were very sweet hosts and made us feel at home right away! Perfect place to explore the beauty of Glen Coe. 10/10!
