Currently undergoing a long process to completely renovate our home with John. His patience and creativity are very well matched. He has opened our eyes to layouts we wouldn't have thought of and is really good at straddling design aesthetics and functionality of a family home. His connections have also really sped up planning processes.

I was very happy with my experience of converting my garage to a workspace. John was thorough in his work and research, and communications were good between myself and the necessary people involved in the whole process. I have no hesitation in giving a 5 star recommendation to Batt Architecture.

I really have had the best experience working with John and team at Batt. 2 years ago we met and discussed opening up a role play centre in my local town. I had a small unit, loads of ideas and no clue what my next steps were….John was always full enthusiasm, knowledge and support from the very start and I have absolutely loved working with him and plan to have a long working relationship with Batt in the future.I know at times I wasn’t the easiest of clients but John always there with help (….help which at times was definitely above and beyond) …Advice and amazing contacts!110% recommend

Love our new wet room extension here in Edinburgh. John at Batt Architecture put forward a few ideas which was a great help for us. We ended up with a side extension utilising some of the garage space with entrance to the wet room from our hallway. Would greatly recommend John at Batt Architecture with no hesitation. Can't speak highly enough about the service that Batt Architecture provides. We've been engaged with John on a project to redevelop our home, including garage conversion, internal room redesign and extention. Throughout, John has has been professional in his delivery and very helpful in identifying how best to maximise the project. We were taken by the design style Batt set out at proposal stage, setting out a statement build rather than defaulting to the conventional. During the pandemic, where plans were disrupted significantly, John has been present and kept us up to date with next steps. We're looking forward to finalising the project and making the most of our new home.

I would definitely recommend using BATT. John is very helpful and put forward some great ideas to assist with our work. The communication throughout the drawing and Building Warrant application process was first class.He didn't hesitate in chasing responses from the council for us and that was pivotal in getting the approval over the line.I'd definitely use BATT again for future work.

We were considering turning a single garage conversion into a whole double garage conversion, but had no idea where to start. John came to our house, asked what we wanted from the space and within minutes verbally came up with the perfect design. We got him to also deal with the council for us, and he also spoke to our builder when we needed him to. I just couldn't believe house stress free it was, and John helped with this. It was amazing service and I would definitely recommend him or use him again if we were doing anything else.

John and the team are fantastic. They helped me every step of the way. The support and assistance around planing regulations and building regulations has been invaluable. After giving them my idea they made it a reality. I would highly recommend.

Excellent service provided by John Wyvar and his team at BATT. After a digital survey at our home/garden. BATT were able to return with a 3D model which was used to provide a virtual walk through of the new building giving us an opportunity to contribute early in the design and decide if it met our specific requirements.BATT were able to enhance our initial concept with some simple ideas. I found John professional , personable and enthusiastic , The BATT team managed the planning application and building warrant liaising with the council and guiding us through the process. BATT provided an electronic copy of all final drawings and documents and offered a tender package to help us with pricing .I would have no hesitation using BATT again in the future.
