Just received my Hoo V3 and I absolutely adore this knife! This knife is truly amazing! The weight, the feel, the design in hand is just awesome. The action, just wow! In my model, the thumbstud makes the better action than the tab. Extremely sharp right out of the box. And the customer service is just too notch!

I left it a while to post a review as wanted to test the V3.As someone who has an allotment and is also in the process of refurbishing a house I need something to hand that I will use multiple times a day. It needs to be functional, well engineered, high quality steel, efficient to use, and be legal to carry in the UK. I can’t be checking my pockets every time I go to a shop to pick up materials.The V3 is great. A bit battered now as it is with me every day, but it is a perfect example of a well designed and engineered product that will last a lifetime.My V3 gets lots of abuse. I use a Skerper diamond / ceramic stone that fits in my pocket. Works a treat.Keep up the good work Carl.

The owner, Carl is an absolute gentleman, tries his absolute best to please even down to individual serial numbers! Product dispatch is extremely fast (mine have all been delivered next day I have 5 orders) products are top quality, go see exactly what I think on my YouTube channel (same as name).

I absolutely love my v3. The M390 blade is razor sharp and perfectly Centred. The titanium handle is high grade and tumbled just enough to give it the right amount of texture for a great grip. It is presented better than any of the large names like Chris reeves, spyderco or benchmade and at a far more reasonable price. Can’t wait to see what Carl has lined up next, I honestly believe he will be the next big name in the knife world, quality like this speaks for itself. I never write reviews but I simply had to for this. Get one while you still can. Also need to mention the fantastic service from Carl. I am a keen collector and have never received such bespoke and kind service.

Surely this chap at HOO KNIVES cannot be making a profit. You shouldn't be able to make knives this good for that price point. I have just received my V3 Blackout that I pre ordered some months ago (Did not at all mind the wait). I am an avid collector of all things Pocket Knife and unfortunately living in our nanny state (UK) like I do, I have longed for a Knife that fits the bill, Legal / Looks / usability etc. This morning I received it. This thing is a Tank. Feels like a true craftsman has made it. Razor sharp out the box (perfectly packaged box, I might add). Everything about this Knife, screams Quality.
