Fforest Farm

I attended a work retreat at Fforest Farm, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The place boasts friendly staff and offers a mesmerizing view of the Welsh hills. We were exceptionally well taken care of, enjoying delicious meals made from locally sourced products. I would rate it 5 stars, truly an unforgettable time.

My wife and I got married at Fforest in April. It was everything we hoped it would be and much more.Leanne and the team made the planning process completely stress-free, offering recommendations when needed and accommodating any specific requests.On the weekend itself, Bronwyn and the rest of the on-site staff were incredible, keeping everyone happy (despite unpredictable Welsh weather) and ensuring everything went completely to plan.Since the wedding, numerous guests have commented on what a perfect venue it was and how much fun they had. We couldn’t be more grateful to the whole Fforest team for providing a magical weekend and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Came to fforest to celebrate a friends wedding. Beautiful venue and the farmhouse was stunning. Would love to organise a new years vacation to this place. It's stunning.

Fforest hosted our weekend wedding celebration, with 160 members of our raucous family and friends in tow. From the word go the Fforest wedding team were on call to answers all of our (many) questions and requests and we had several meetings scheduled in the run up to the wedding to help us navigate our way through all of the wedding planning from accommodation, to menus and schedule, even helping us source our fantastic photographer, florist and babysitter. The team were open to us making the weekend our own and enthusiastic about our ideas.The Fforest grounds are absolutely stunning. We couldn’t have hoped for a more beautiful setting for our weekend and the weekend ran seamlessly, thanks to the planning team and experienced onsite events team.The food (all of which was supplied by the florist team) was absolutely spectacular (as were the home brewed ales) and no one was ever left hungry.All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and capable and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend them enough.

Simply awesome place to spend a long weekend. We were there out of season - February - so some of the amenities were closed but the Crog Lofts are amazingly well furnished and warm. Outdoor kitchen was an experience given the time of year but added to the enjoyment. Everything is provided so no need to bring the kitchen sink. Also dog friendly so what's not to love.Towns and beaches are only a short drive away.We are considering this as a place for a large family get together over a spring summer period as the amount of accommodation on site is vast see the map in photos.

We stayed in a large farmhouse although there other options on a large site. We were a large mixed age group so the space was essential. The canoe trip on the river is well worth doing.

Just booked for next year which will be our 5th year staying at Fforest.It's a place loved by all the family and one where we feel at home and totally relaxed. They just do it right from the locally sourced produce for breakfast & supper nights, cinema night in the giant tipi, guided woodland walks to open spaces where the kids and dog can run free. The accommodation has a real personal touch and great to see the sustainability ethos.I personally love the evenings having a G&T and watching the sunset over the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside.Thank you to the lovely owners and staff as you have created somewhere magical that creates life long family memories.See you next year!

We had an our wedding here in September 2023, it’s taken a while for me to write a review as I struggle to put into words how amazing a weekend we had!The key highlights of a Fforest wedding for us was the range and amount of accommodation on site, the easy going staff and, most importantly, the ability to use the beautiful site as a blank canvas so you can have a really personal wedding.During the planning stage Leanne and her spreadsheet helped us structure our day and implement some weird and wonderful ideas! The collaborative approach really takes the stress out of planning and Leanne is lovely to work with (as are Jackson and Kelly and everyone else).On the weekend the food, drinks etc. were amazing as you’d expect from Fforest. We had a lot of guests say it was the best wedding food they’d had. The staff were great on the day as well and I particularly appreciated how they kept us to schedule in an unobtrusive way.Thanks for the best weekend of our lives!(Photo credit: Jake Morley - who is also great)

We had our wedding at Fforest at the beginning of October having been planning since April 2021. From the minute we found Fforest and decided that it would be the place we wanted to get married, the team were super helpful and fantastic in supporting us through the journey of planning our weekend, showing us around the venue on multiple occasions, and keeping in touch throughout the process. Any questions we had were promptly answered, we never felt like we were waiting for information, and it never felt like any requests we had were too much! The team feel like a big family and massively supported us through a particularly tough couple of months right before the wedding. It never once felt like we were dealing with a company who were in it solely for the business, they were all such a big help in reducing any stress we would have otherwise felt in the run up to the wedding.The venue is beautiful, it was the perfect setting for the wedding of our dreams, the food is fantastic, I didn't eat a single thing all weekend that I didn't love and the accommodation is great and so comfortable! We stayed in an onsen dome, the bath is a fabulous touch and was a really appreciated relaxing soak after the big celebrations, and we utilised Ty Fforest to it's fullest for getting ready for the big day, both are spectacular places to stay. The day ran perfectly, the staff were incredibly attentive, any request we had was answered and delivered on, and at no point were we made to feel like we were asking too much.We will absolutely be planning another stay, although any future visits will be difficult to live up to the magic of our wedding day!I would absolutely recommend you consider Fforest if you're looking for the most relaxed vibes for a wedding, somewhere where you can celebrate for a full three days with your guests and not once feel like you're just one in a conveyor belt of weddings.
