Ottoman Barbers

Bern coming here for the past few weeks and saw the same guy who I assume to be the owner and he has done an absolutely phenomenal job, cut my beard to the best it's ever been. But the past 3 Times I've been here I've sampled the other barbers who are no where near his level, despite clear instructions to keep the sides short and the middle long but tapered, they haven't listened to a word, cut it down to the chin and left the sides bushy. I don't know if they just struggle with English or are just being wilfully ignorant. Even brought a photo reference this last time and still cocked it up. There work is also shoddy, with parts patchy, different lengths, and a general unfinished appearance. Avoid in till they can get barbers like the first.

They look after you ,but if busy will rush and you don't get as good a service

I took my brother for his haircut at this barbers after someone had recommend this place to me. I was very impressed, great service and my little brother was extremely happy with his hair! Said it was the best he has had yet! Highly recommend this place! :)

I went in after deciding to stop growing my hair long and asked for a simple crew cut, not too short on the sides and slightly brushed over at the top. What I left with was extremely short on the sides and a comb over (which I specifically asked not for.) I had an inch or so taken off my hairline at the back and behind my ears. It's not even in the sides either.

Went in for the full works. Haircut, beard trim, cut throat shave, ear nose and brow wax all with hot head towel and head massage. All for the very reasonable price if 22 quid.Came out feeling like a new bloke.Would highly recommend

Always hard trying to find a new barbers and after visiting a few dire ones in the past few months thought I'd check this one out. I went purely based on how many 5 star reviews it had and I can safely say they are accurate. Only went in for a trim and the attention to detail was astounding, will definitely be coming back!

Went here twice on my visit to Sunderland recently.Great job both times. Nice people.
