The staff at the head office in Ipswich are very pleasant. I could not get in touch with recruitment though. Universal credit claimants that sign at Alfreton, Chesterfield, Heanor and long eaton are pestering claimants to contact vertas but they never answer. There is a part time position in Heanor library on Indeed. It hasnt been removed.

Great organisation, great people.

Applied to work for Vertas and attended the interview suited and booted but never received a reply. The irony is that Vertas boast of having excellent communication skills - on this evidence, they do not.Having previously worked at Endeavour House, amongst other council buildings in Ipswich for Suffolk County Council over several years between 2004 and 2022, I know certain business practices of the Vertas organisation - I use the word organisation" very loosely. With the aforementioned experience I would like to suggest that more professionalism should be conducted in dealing with applicants who have taken the time to apply

Personally I haven't had much problems with them, however I think strong action is needed on the managerial level. We've lost members of staff due to how staff are being treated by managers. Just recently a regional manager paid a visit to our workplace and was quite nasty to two members of staff. One has left permanently, the other intends to leave as soon as possible and she won't be coming back either. I've tried very hard to keep her onboard but the higher ups seem to want to cause staffing issues. We've been badly understaffed for months, but instead of trying to keep their current staff...they seem hellbent on chasing us all off. Even I have been applying for other jobs and getting ready to jump ship. I'd rather stay where I am, but it seems the manager wants to lose all the staff.

An awful company to work for, I got pushed out of my work because of them, and as for the payments, it’s absolutely shocking how their payments work out, you never ever get the right pay on pay day and most pay days your not paid atall, I was never ever paid the right amount and still after leaving I never got the money back that was taken off me and owed to me! And communication is awful

Worst employer ever they will chew you up and spit you out , management is just a bunch of people who think they are above any one treat their staff with contempt ,pay role never pay right and short change staff , health and safety doesn't exist at beacon house break rules all the time ,do not work for this company which are council anyway ,Vertas is a joke , Do NOT GET A JOB WITH VERTAS.
