When going for an IVA with Bennett Jone please be careful as my experience with this company has been a nightmare. We was in an IVA for supposedly 5years. It turned out to be 6years as I had a stroke through the stress of not affording the payments. I had to send proof from the hospital before they believed me then they said you can reduce your payment but you have to pay for an extra year. The staff have zero sympathy and are very rude.Then to cap it off. I made my last payment then 2weeks later I then had an email saying I have to sign this document so that some company of solicitors to check that I’m not eligible for any PPI.They had 6years to do this but have decided to do it now. All I want is for Bennett Jones to be out of our lives in stead of prolonging nightmare. IN MY THOUGHTS BENNETT JONES IS ON THE CREDITORS SIDE, and not on the side of the person applying for the IVA they will want to maximise returns for the creditors even if you are solely on Benefits and no other income.

Been moved from my old company to Bennett Jones and it’s been a absolute nightmare! My payments has gone up and I have phone 3 times for my money to be taken out my account….. really bad experience specially now all costs has gone up …. Wouldn’t recommend

So far, I have had a very good experience with this company. If you are using this company then like me, you have had a tough time financially.I’m into my second year and I have been very satisfied with their service and their support.You have a lot of contact with them at the very start. There’s a lot to go through and I think they work hard to provide a fair solution to you.Once you’re in it, you can call them whenever you need advice but I’m general, they leave you to it and that really works for me. Bear in mind people who have IVA’s have had years of hardship from credit companies so it’s amazing to just be cut free and not be harassed.You have to stick to the rules of the IVA and don’t take the mick, but follow the advice Bennet Jones gives you and you will manage.An IVA feels embarrassing, scary and distressing but these guys have really helped me and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I highly recommend them to anyone considering getting one.I wish anyone in the same situation I have been in the very best. You are not alone.

They are so helpful, they put your mind at rest and make things so simple and easy for you

Arranging a IVA , not a problem , u get even harrased by them , daily 2-3 phone calls so they can get you into one .Cons :1. After approval , you can not find anyone to speak about payments but if you make a payment there will be someone .2. They will say someone will call you back ,Will be a robot that will ask you to press one to make a payment or to speak to an advisor . When advisor answers and u want to talk about payments , they cant because it has to be a review advisors and all the time they are on a phone call".3. They will not help you when you run into financia problems or circumstances changed .4. Over the phone all staff are so rude after ur IVA is approved
