I recently bought a Mini Cooper from Motorhouse on finance. As a first time buyer the salesmen were very helpful and friendly, they took the time to talk me through the process and found the best deal for me.The car was in a fantastic condition, with a low mileage and good service history. I was able to take the car on a test drive with Mr Steele who I found to be very knowledgeable. I didn't once feel pressurised to buy the car.The experience as a whole was very positive I got a great car for a great deal. I'd definitely recommend.

I recently purchased a Ford Fiesta from Motorhouse. It was an easy and stress free purchase. I was helped by a friendly and approachable salesman who took the time to talk to me about my concerns and helped me to choose the extended warranty I needed.I was able to purchase it at trade price, saving myself hundreds. Even better I was able to part exchange my previous Ford, which they gave me a reasonable price for.All in all it was a great experience with helpful staff. I'd definitely get my next car from them!

Editing my review because I was eventually refunded for my deposit. Can't delete this review, but John the owner was really out of line how he dealt with my case, so the rating is definitely justified IMO.Motor house gave me an evaluation on my car, I paid a deposit to secure that deal. Next time I saw them, they dropped the evaluation of my car and made me a different offer which involved throwing some insurance package in. After independent research I felt wasn't a good offer for me. I politely asked for my deposit back, and they refused to give it back! Had an argument with John, the owner, who just insisted he wasn't in the wrong, so now having to go through courts/fraud departments to get my deposit back. He thinks that because he told another interested party the car is now sold that the above is all invalid.**Edit**: James, the son in the business did follow up and apologised for this incident and gave me a refund. Hat off to him for being decent about this. I'll put this incident down as a one off mistake.

Recently I bought a Jaguar XK model from Motorhouse Harrogate. The staff were very helpful on the phone. I appreciated that the manager did not give me the 'hard sell'. He was straight without the usual salesman speak. Mr. Steele is clearly an enthusiast. We've all heard dodgy stories about used car dealers but I couldn't be happier with the vehicle I purchased.

Travelled more than 580 miles to buy and collect my car from only Motorhouse's (John's) images, and from talking with him. Every single detail was as described and the vehicle was in exceptional, clean condition as he had stated.Very fair price and an easy transaction without any pressure / hassle.The journey was well worth it, and I would not hesitate to recommend this company (& in particular John himself)Can't give enough praise.John - Southampton

Would not recommend this garage at all costs AVOID ,turn around and go somewhere else.i have purchased a car over a year ago, within less then one week engine light came on, idle started playing up and down and loosing power .... which they probably did something on when i was viewing to stop that ... i dont know so anyway i took the car back within two days spoke to the owners son he said first he will do help do his best get it fixed or take the car back give money back etc...so i was happy then an hour later had phone call probably i am sure after he spoke to his dad that saying they will not gonna give me a refund the money or also not gonna fixed car so i have ended up LOOSING 900£ and scrapped the car as well ... I am now very happy that after a long time from this thing has happened finally i can put it on Google so everyone will know about this company ... I am not recommending avoid at all costs turn around find another dealer...

Recently I found a car for sale at Motorhouse and basically turned up without an appointment . John invited me to freely look over the car whilst he found the paperwork . There was no pressure sales that you find at larger car showrooms , just a relaxed approach and take as much time as I wanted .I returned for a second time and was invited to take a test drive and learn more about the history of the car. We spoke frankly about the price and a realistic deal was reached .John was as good as his word and arranged a new MOT and also a warranty which he even upgraded .I Will no doubt visit again in the future , would recommend a visit to his showroom .
