Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Dereham

I currently have a van on hire which has no brakes. I called Friday and was informed that there was nothing wrong, they could not help. Please look at the MOT FAILURE certificate I had done today which says it is DANGEROUS DO NOT DRIVE. Thanks to AVIVA insurance for arranging this wonderful little van for us.I called today Enterprise HQ today, and they say the Dereham branch is too busy to call me until later. Wow.AVIVA said they were “sorry the van wasn’t satisfactory”.It’s now been towed away on a transporter and we have a new van. Thanks. But I suggest you check your vehicle very closely!!!Update: The manager at Dereham apologised in person at our offices. Thank you.

Really good service. They picked me up from my village and took me to the centre to hire a car. The car was perfectly satisfactory. I hired a car for 7 days, but my car was fixed much quicker than anticipated and they very kindly refunded me for the days I didn't need it. The staff were very helpful and reassuring, nothing was too much bother.

I suspect understaffed but doesn't excuse the appalling pool of cars. We had 4 different cars over a 3 months hire due to breakdowns and faults. Extremely random fleet made up of a mish mash of makes and models. Thankfully we weren't paying the bill.Complaints to Customer services went unanswered.

Service was quick. Van was waiting for me. New policy is to bring back the car with the same amount of fuel you pick it up with, unfortunately that doesn't mean full, the van I got had just over half a tank when I collected it, I then have to give it back with the same amount which isn't easy. Go back to full when picked up and full when dropping off.

On Tuesday the 3rd January I was taken care by the team at Enterprise in Dereham. Sam organised the handing over of the vehicle that I chose and gave me all the information required for me to carry out my journey successfully. On the return back I met Piers on the handover of the Van. Excellent guys and very knowledgeable 2nd to none Customer service I would highly recommend them.

Due to circumstances hired a van from Enterprise to get home excellent service and no task to small a pat on the back to Piers very professional and helped the process along nicely. Top marks all round..

Recently used the Dereham branch a couple of times due to my own car off the road.Can't fault the service received, always friendly and approachable. Added service was being able to picked up and drop me off for the car hire.The service that Sam provided (on pick up) and Jamie (on return) was fantastic and I can't fault them - never an issue.Will continue to use them if further hires are required.

I’ve been trying for half an hour to contact the Dereham branch without success. They either don’t answer the phone or if I try another option someone answers remotely and advises to choose the option which again and again doesn’t respond. Someone’s supposed to pick me up at nine and it’s now 9.45 am. Shocking service, very poor telephone automation and not in any would I use them again. Paul Thomas
