Halfords Autocentre Stirling

Had a “new” car battery fitted and only 5 weeks later my car would not start. The main Toyota dealer checked for parasitic leakage but none found and the car electrics were sound. BUT the capacity of the new battery was only 68%. I went back to Halfords. How could they fit a “new” battery which had permanently lost almost a third of its capacity? They refused to change it. No success from Halfords customer services or the Area Manager. I asked if they tested batteries before they were fitted - No they don’t. I wonder how many other customers have had new batteries fitted which do not have full capacity. There is no date on the battery (strange) so I don’t know how old it is. I suspect old stock.

Great service from Jennifer and the team. Away from home and turned up late Saturday afternoon with a bolt in my tyre. Tyre wasn't repairable, and although they didn't have one, phoned National who did have a tyre and arranged for it to get fitted. Got me home, safety!

Just getting MOT but great service and friendly staff, recommendations too. Another good Halfords experience.

Special Tyre ordered and fitted in one day, air conditioning fixed and topped up at a reasonable price.Friendly reception / waiting room. I'll definitely use when MOT is due.

Called this morning for shock absorber replacement price . Jennifer on reception was excellent and the car was booked in right away. 30 mins later car was on ramp and having repair done and was cheaper than other quotes I had. Super efficient service and cannot praise them highly enough.Totally recommend this garage.Five stars.

Booked car in for DPF flush on the website for £85. On the day of appointment was called to say this service isn’t offered anymore. Not been available since March 2022. So for a year.I sent a couple of emails asking for more information on this and have had no response at all.It is still possible to book a dpf flush on the site for some reason.

I had issues getting tyres compatible with my requirements. Jennifer, who was working in the reception could not have been more helpful. What was initially an issue for me at a previous centre, became very easy and straightforward. I would highly recommend this centre and there is only one place that I’ll be going from now on. The customer service was exceptional.
