Good selection of basics and luxury items for the home chef. They do not always carry the full line of every manufacturer's products, but have most of the best sellers. I go back every time I need a new kitchen gadget, and often find a small item or two on sale, sometimes for myself, or as a gift for friends who cook.

I never fail to be impressed by this store. The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and the shop always seems to be immaculate - whether you catch them on a busy Saturday afternoon or comparatively quiet weekday.I would definitely count a visit to Steamer Trading Canterbury as one of my more enjoyable retail experiences. Just the other day, as I was wrangling my two-year-old while in search for a ravioli stamp, a kind staff-member actually offered to bring down their full selection of pasta cutters to me. I was so grateful, I could have cried.Big thumbs up. Other stores should take note.

Got scammed there. I bought an item on sale (sale tag just saying the price difference and “while stocks last”) and when I arrived home I found out the item had a part completely broken. Must have been on display and fallen off or something like that.I’m pretty sure the staff knew and put it on sale because of that, as that was the only item left of that type and it was the new collection, so no particular reason for it to be on sale.Guess some things are just too good to be true. Unfortunately I was on holiday and live far away so I cannot return the item, but just be careful with sales there.

My wife and I purchased a KitchenAid from Steamer Trading Cook Shop in Canterbury on 28 Dec which unfortunately had a fault with the locking mechanism. The staff were so helpful and replaced it without question (even though it was KitchenAid's fault). Very happy with our replacement KitchenAid and with superb service from Steamer Trading so it's only fair to sing their praises online!
