This tile store has a great selection of tiles, some really unusual stuff which I haven’t seen before. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and they made the whole process so much easier and trouble free. Delivery was fast and efficient. Well done International Tiles

I initially was impressed visiting this store needing tiles and flooring for an unexpected bathroom refurbish. The calculations of what I needed were made by the assistant Shaun and I spent over £1K for a small bathroom. The Tiler contracted to do my work by a well known local appraised Building family wasn't happy with the Grout that I had been recommended by the store and it was agreed he used his own and I would return to store. The Floor fitter contracted to lay my floor only used one of the boxes of which was calculated I would need just over one and to purchase two to be safe I still have remains of one box and two was well over what I needed. On returning to store the grout,over calculated tile cement,grout cleaning products and the box of flooring .As we approached the door my Daughter struggling with the box of flooring Shaun appeared opening the door saying you can't return special orders I reminded him he calculated the flooring and the box was not needed and had not been touched. He then said there would be a charge to return which I asked him how much this would be rather than be left with a box of flooring costing £130.63.We proceeded with the return of the other items and he asked why the grout wasn't used I informed him what the Tiler had said which was it was for more Industrial areas such as swimming pools and would take far longer to use and would not only cost me more for the product but an extra days labour . Shaun disagreed with this and said a Professional Tiler would disagree I was shocked with his comment and informed him the Tiler was Professional he then said I mean a proper proper Tiler. I informed him the Tiler had been contracted by the company refurbishing my Bathroom and as he had asked why I was telling him the reasons I had been given by the Tiler. Shaun then decided to involve other Customers waiting which were two workman asking them if they had used this Grout I found this most unprofessional and humiliating.My other goods were finally refunded I then again asked the cost of returning the flooring and was informed after him making a phone call you can only return a minimum of three boxes or more and that it would cost me more than the flooring to return so I said so its going to cost more than £130.63 to return one box of flooring ? I could not continue to argue this after all the embarrassing commotion he made but will be looking to take this further. I will never purchase anything from this store again, initially feeling very happy with the service but of course I was then purchasing how people can change once they have sold you something. Disgusting unprofessional behaviour............. In reply to your comments No, I was never asked for the name of the Tiler or Company whom were refurbishing my Bathroom. I today spoke to the Tiler with regards to the unprofessional comments made and he informed me he has never heard of the product being a professional Tiler for over 30 years. I also have read about the product and it did coincide with his comments on the product it is used in high traffic industrial and commercial areas such as swimming pools and fountains. It was not at all about the cost I am very particular in products I purchase and would not choose an item because it was cheaper, quality is far more important to me. I am most surprised you are also agreeable to your staff's unprofessional behaviour humiliating Customers that says a lot to me, The Customer is always right is what I was always taught " and I am a great believer in those words if you are to manage a successful business . In relation to the flooring no I was not aware this could not be returned I was advised I would need just over one box by Shaun on giving him the measurements . I can only assume he mistakenly calculated this without taking into account there would be a bath in the bathroom . I was informed the Mosaic tiles could no be returned . Perhaps you could advise me of your personal email as well as whom you contacted that refused my return?"

Very unusual that our last review of how poor the staff member was here has been removed?Vaping as we entered, ignored us until we asked for help…Failing to tell us over the phone that we couldn’t return unused tiles then called us a liar when we tried to return an unused box stating they told us this in store, however we ordered over the phone! Then nothing but an attitude when we did a review. Other reviews speak for the attitude in this place not just us.

Went to international tile today who have shut down, there was a sign directing to Totnes Tile who have a beautiful showroom with tiles, bathrooms and kitchens and were really helpful, I've now booked in for an appointment to have my Kitchen done! Definitely would recommend.

I bought an epoxy resin grout from here at a considerable cost, and was assured that it would cover the area (that they calculated.) We needed needing another few buckets, therefore taking the cost up to over £350!!! The builder went back in to ask why because it was within the 2mm-4mm spacing guidelines; and they said they didn't know why. Plus we had to wait because the product wasn't in stock either, so we had half a job done and a builder wanting to get on with the job. The product is fantastic; but I would never have bought it at that price if I'd known.

A one is a bit tricky to give. We honestly had the most lacklustre experience. From Day 1 the customer service was hard work. We felt like we were trying to encourage enthusiasm. We had delay after delay, we were promised that products would be checked but on more than one occasion the wrong products were ordered and delivered. It was so bad it was awe-inspiring. And never an apology, only a snide comment. I really really didn't want to write a bad review, we gave them so many chances to redeem themselves but, it just didn't happen. I won't name the individuals but I certainly feel that customer service and perhaps bathrooms aren't your 'ideal home'. Sorry to leave such a bad review but it was awful! Luckily the bathroom is all finished thanks mostly to RGB around the corner who were amazing, efficient and, friendly. All we ever need is friendly!
