David Lloyd Leicester Meridian

We were looking to move gyms so contacted David Lloyd and arranged a tour. Jemma showed us round and we liked what we saw so we joined up. The gym is very well kitted out and the pool/spa area was clean and not too busy. We stayed for lunch in the clubroom (which was very nice). All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very glad we became members!

I recently visited David Lloyd, Leicester Meridian, and had a positive experience. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The variety of equipment and workout options catered to all fitness levels. The gym's atmosphere was motivating, and I appreciated the availability of classes and personal training. Overall, it's a great place for anyone seeking fitness goals.

I have regular personal training sessions with Charlotte. She is wonderful!! Patient, knowledgable and genuinely cares about your overall well-being. I always look forward to my sessions with her as she goes at my pace and always gives me the right development and tips to grow. My overall fitness has transformed, I had little confidence and felt very unfit when Charlotte first met me. A year later, I’ve lost a lot of weight, toned up, lifting three times a week using her program tailored for me and now training for the London Marathon with her, would not have even been able to apply if I didn’t have this new found self-confidence. I went yesterday with a friend for a daily pass... What made my experience so unforgettable was the lovely customer service that Daisy has been provided since we walked in, making us feel welcomed and prompt to always help anything... She is extremely friendly and simultaneously professional in her job. Highly recommended... Great experience purely thanks to Daisy...

I love this place however over the last few months I have noticed little things that are starting to make my experience less enjoyable. The toilets frequently smell awful just lately, and often there are blocked or broken toilets. The changing area has four cubicles and 4 seating cubes and sometimes it is not enough space to change when busy. The shower cubicles need a refresh as there is a lot of black grouting where it should be light grout. I often go i to a shower and there is clogged hair in the drains and it is very slippery because slime has accumulated. When I started my membership there were more children’s classes and now there are less and every so often they reduce children’s classes which is very annoying when you get yourself into a routine. Sometimes the steam room and hot tub are not working and I find frequently in the hot tube I get sore eyes from chlorine. The staff here are so lovely, kind and helpful. I haven’t had a bad experience yet with a staff member. Swim coaches are brilliant. Personal PT are really good. The only downside is it is rather tired and things need refurbishment.

I recently joined David Lloyd’s, and I must say, I am impressed! The gym is well-equipped with all the essential equipment for a comprehensive workout session. The ambiance is friendly and inviting, with ample natural light and perfect ventilation.What impressed me the most is the dedication and expertise of the staff. The trainers are knowledgeable and guide you through every step of your fitness journey. I must give a special shoutout to Trishan, who has been my trainer for the last few weeks. He is incredibly professional and motivating and always pushes me to my limits.

What a wonderful gym! All the facilities you’d expect and more. There’s a great selection of well maintained equipment in the main gym and an abundance of high quality classes for all levels in their studios. There really is something for everyone. If that wasn’t enough, every staff member I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable in their fields. Full marks from me! Thank you
