Me my partner and two dogs stayed in CWTCH CABIN for 3 nights in June 2023.We had a fantastic stay, the Cabin has everything you need, very cosy, good size and spectacular mountain views. There's a lovely Bar and restaurant on site next to the Cabin to have a hot meal and a few drinks. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and we will definitely be back very soon.Thank you for a lovely stay at this stunning location in the Afan Forest.

Just returned home from a lovely stay at lodge 4We took our 2 huskies and 2 little dogs. The lodge had everything you would need for a stay, the TV signal wasn't working (wales lost anyway) but we took a radio. I advise guests to do the same. The cabin is so beautiful and hosts amazing views. It had a fridge, immaculate cooker and sink, also a microwave. I am boarding on ocd so I took all my own bedding cups, cutlery and slept on top of what was there, I didn't use the shower facilities as we only stayed 1 night and we live a 20 minute journey away.Advice: if your looking for somewhere to relax in peace and feel home from home, to entertain yourselves in an idyllic setting with no interference from others, this place is for you. You can watch the bikers carry out fantastic stunts on the trails, walk the dogs through woodland and paths taking in the fantastic beauty this area has to offer. If you want to be waited on hand and foot and require every need attended to instantly then its not going to be your cup of tea! It's luxury for people who enjoy the camping lifestyle. We weren't lucky enough to book the dining experience in the domes however they looked fantastic. We hired the bbq but couldn't get it lit (our fault not that of the park)We left the next morning at the break of dawn and as there was no facilities open we left the cabin exactly as we found it.We would love to stay again.

As far as locations go, this is almost perfect. It's up in the hills next to easily accessible forest walks and cycle tracks/trails, although it does require a tough cycle back uphill at the end of the day, if you're not driving. There are houses nearby which can be a little noisy, but the campsite itself was quiet enough during our visit. The main gripe was that the land is mostly sloped, so it can be difficult to find a flat spot for tents. However it's clean and the amenities are well maintained, plus there is access to food and drink if needed. The nearest shop is otherwise a long walk away.

Found rubbish and bathers and socks from previous customers. Cobwebs everywhere. Breakfast over priced. When deciding what to have for food gentleman was very rude. Handling food from one side of the kitchen and carrying it on his hands cooked to the hot plate. No aprons worn, not very hygienic, also, he was wearing the same clothes from the day before. Didn’t meet expectations. Booked a lodge with double beds as two sets of couples were going. But was put into a log cabin due to double booking which only had single beds which were very uncomfortable. Pillows were flat which give us all bad necks. No one slept well. Came on a family holiday for my brothers birthday and overall experience was bad and no enjoyed. Wouldn’t recommend or stay here again. Shower head broken. Windows had gaps in them so very drafty. Toilet lifting off the floor

A great welcome from Jenna (owner) and Shar for a beautiful 3 night stay with views to die for as shown in photos. Burger shack with fast food available. Mountain Biking trails/hire also available but not for us. Easy to find and family friendly, we'll definitely be going back, thanks very much.

This place is absolutely amazing, the people who run the lodge are so nice, they sorted us right out after a 50 mile bike ride from Cardiff, it's a lovely clean and safe place to stay with great catering and a bar that's very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay whether you're camping or lodging

Amazing meal for my wife's birthday in the dining pod! Was quite bad weather but the pod was great and had a heat lamp inside so was lovely and warm. Food was great and very reasonably priced! Will be returning very soon. Thank you
