I am really disappointed. I have booked MOT through fixter and Autoelite has failed my MOT due to side bulb not working. They have charged £6 for bulb and £18 for labour. I need my car back today so I had to pay but I felt it's ripping off customers.

EDITED 09/08/2023I have just spoken to the owner of Autoelite and have adjusted my review. It turns out that the quotes for work are prices set by Fixter, not the garage (despite fixter telling me the opposite!). This garage would have quoted me much less, and Fixter inflate the price to make money for themselves. This is a lesson for myself to not book through a third party and go directly to the garage themselves. I have apologised to the owner for the miscommunication, and wish them all the best with their business going foward........Wouldn't go near this garage again. Booked an MOT via Fixter and this was the allocated garage. My MOT failed and this garage quoted me nearly £400 for the work that needed doing. One call to my local mechanic and he told me the parts were £7 each online, and this garage was vastly overcharging for this.The garage also said my headlights were misaligned, so wanted to charge me £100 for new bulbs (which were working fine) and mechanical polishing of the headlights (which wouldn't fix the problem, and is totally unnecessary). Picture of said headlights attached - doesn't look like it needs polishing to me!I have phoned and reported this garage to Fixter, and urge people to think twice before using them unless they want to pay an extortionate amount for unnecessary work.

Servicing provided was average and unsatisfactory. Car returned with some issues with wipers. Lack of communication, I was charged for repairs that did not happened, etc . All in all i can see that this garage has good reviews - fair enough but my recent experience was not brilliant . Therefore I would not recommend this garage for general car servicing..

After breaking down on the M40 on our way to France, Autoelite took the job on at short notice. After ordering the part in, the job was done the next morning which meant we could continue with our holiday. Great service, thank you for fitting the job in at such short notice.

Do not bring your car to them rubbish serviceWe bring our car for ambient lights repair and they didn’t fix it and also they damage the window and also they didn’t want to give our car back until we pay them to put it back together the car was stripped of in there for a monthAfter 4 months we went to a different Garage and they found a piece of wood inside the door and missing the part that was for the window function

Put my VW Tiguan in for a service and MoT and was delighted with the service received and the outstanding condition in which the car was returned. 5* rating from me

Found the team super knowledgeable and professional.They managed to turn the job around quicker than they promised so a nice bonus.Would not hesitate to work with the guys again.The two owners are ex BMW so great pedigree!

Fleet vehicle booked in for a standard service with courtesy car provided. No reception area left me wandering around to find them to drop the vehicle in. Very polite. Courtesy car provided (2007 BMW with 216k on the clock) was unclean inside and out (just after lockdown when we are all supposed to be super careful), controls sticky to the touch and smelt strongly of dog. >>>Telephoned to say my car was ready to collect. I arrived 30 mins later to see it being driven away. Apparently to be taken for cleaning. 30 minutes later it was brought back. Very clean inside and out. Next morning I realise my wheel nuts have visible colour bleaching on them on 3 wheels and are missing from the 4th. I contact to ask them to look into it and provide photos. 4 hours later they respond to say it wasnt them but they can sell me new ones. I am always keen to support independent businesses but in this instance I cannot endorse them and would not return.

My Skoda octavia was sent here by warrenty company as they didn’t want to pay main dealer prices. They had my car for two days. The car had an issue with the auto wipers not working and the interior light not coming on when the doors are opened. After two days they stated that both items had been coded out of the car, and I had to go to Skoda to have it fixed. I had to pay the £95 bill. So before it went to Skoda I looked at the issues myself, taking the cover off the rain sensor, the sensor was hanging down and not clipped in. One clip in later and is fully working, pretty much the same issue with the interior light. Both items fixed by me (not a car mechanic) within the hour. Do not trust this garage!! Not elite at all. Waste of two days and £95.

I do not recommend this garage, be careful! I left the new car with them, they found a minor problem with a wheel. They started the repair without my approval. I couldn't take the car from them until they repaired it. Huge bill. They kept the car in the garage for several days for no reason. the rental car from them was horrible, very dirty inside, I refused to take it. Mark and Armando behaved badly, I did not understand their attitude. a very bad experience, I do not recommend this garage!
